I just bought a 97 Cadillac Seville that had the same problem. It was the fuse on mine. There are two separate power supplies for both the front and rear lighters.

Remove the panel directly under the steering column. It is located just back in there.

vise gripps. make sure they have good teeth on them, and clamp down tight

4.6 Northstar. It is located on the rear of engine(driver side) in front. It is 1n the the water pump housing cover. Remove airbox and intake tube and bottom radiator hose. 2 bolts(believe 10mm) on thermo housing. These systems are a lil finiky about air pockets....so fill slowly and let run at idle until operating temp and let cool and chk level.....fill as needed and repeat if needed.

if you don't have interior lights check in-advert power relay under plastic cover in engine compartment its the top relay slide it off turn to where you can see the wires if carroded you need to replace relay and connector end

take it to a dealer or a junk yard that does repairs

How do I remove the left low beam headlight on a 2002 Cadillac Sedan Deville? I found 3 bolts, but there is something holding it near the fender side of the assembly.

The main difference between the Cadillac Fleetwood and Cadillac is size. The Cadillac Fleetwood is usually bigger than the deville but it all depends on the year to determine the difference. In some of the older years like 1984 and before, it was only an inch or two difference in length and slighty different appearance but in the eighties and ninties the fleetwoods were usually significantly longer and a little wider when comparing the two, basically two completely different models.Like in like 1985 as well as in 1995 when the two were very different models especially in size. So the general rule for comparing the two is the Fleetwood is usually bigger specifically in length.

I just replaced my water pump on my 95 DeVille. I decided to have a dealer do the job. They charged me 2.5 hours of labor.

All depends. If you take to the dealer it will cost you between $400 to $450 for the cooler and $1500.00 to $2000.00 for labor. If you do it yourself it will be less but you really have to know exactly what you doing. Is not easy to get to it and to replace it if never done it before. I installed mine myself on my 03 CTS, and I struggled even though I know some about mechanics. I was able to get and AC Delco for $250 cooler brand new and much better than the original. I spent around $500 total including gaskets and seals. If you can get someone to do it for you, make sure that person knows enough about this particular engine.

Contact Thermagasket @ 1-925-215-1211 and ask them. I had same problem with my 98 Northstar and they sold ma a part that takes 10 minutes to install using a knife/scissors and a screw driver. Stopped my car from overheating instantly. Northstar has built in problem, this fixes it.

Is the A/C(blower) inoperable or the rear A/C display(controls) not working in general? Just need some specifics to answer the question best. Rear modules are know to break(remove center console to access and replce,...torx bit needed and flathead screwdriver). Or, possibly blower motor itself(take to shop cuz all that is under the dash,..fragile and expensive little screws and fasteners).

yeah if you raise the coil springs I converted my suspension from air to regular but my 97 already had coil springs so all I really had to get was new rear struts then all I had to do was get longer coil springs and im sitting on 24''s

This is incorrect, the 2000 up deville has an access plate in the trunk, pull out the mat and it will be obvious you can change full sending unit and pump through it.

You need a engine scanner and hook it up and it will tell you what sensor is bad.

Connect a freon gauge and freon can to the low side ac port. Start the engine and turn the ac on high. Open the valve to allow the freon to flow until the gauge reads full.

you have to rmove the timming cove the oil pump is located in the loer left corner you can loosen the motor mount and trans mounts then jack up the motoer but its a little more work

Could be a bad wheel speed sensor.

go to best buy and pay them. Cadillac's are very hard to do yourself. It took best buy an hour just to put in a CD deck for me.
