I don't know when Cadillac started doing this, but they eliminated the coil packs and have since been using coil on spark plug coils. They are directly over the plugs on the engine. You have to remove 4 or 5 bolts to access them.

when you open up the hood of your car look to the right side of the engine block, and there should be a black rubber tube with a plastic shroud covering it located right in front of the coolant tank. this is the air filter housing and will need to be removed by unclipping the 2 clips and one ring that hold it in place. also make sure to disconnect the sensor located on the rubber tube. after that has been removed under where it used to be should be a dipstick for the transmission fluid. and on a side note if your transmission fluid is dark yellow to brown, get it changed immediately!
