Depends what you mean by biggest - height, weight, wingspan or flying. For height you may choose Ostrich, Emu, Rhea or Cassowary. An Ostrich can grow to 9 feet tall and so will be the heaviest. Great Bustard for weight of largest flying bird. Or Albatros for flying, or Condor for its 11 feet wing span.

Of course they can. The color is just color. I have 8 parakeets in a huge cage 2 green ones 2 blue ones a lutino (all yellow) an albino (all white) and a lace wing that is blue and white and also a solid white with black tips on wings/head. They all get along great 5 boys and 3 girls.

It depends; if you want to hand train them or keep them hand trained, you should get one, since they bond much easier if they are not distracted by another parakeet. If you want them to be happy and don't care about bonding with them, get two.

You could, I suppose, but not in large amounts. Birds lack the enzymes needed to digest dairy products, so dairy products go through their system generally untouched. Don't feed your bird large amounts of dairy products, in this case, cheese.

Yes, we had 2 lovebirds and a parakeet which were all in the same cage.

They were all female and one of the lovebirds was the mediator between the other 2.

The mediator lovebird passed away and the parakeet and other lovebird get along perfectly.

1.First get a new cage for the new parakeet, then put them next to each other to let them get used to it.

2.After that, if they are both friendly to each other then let them out at the same time. 3.If they are still being nice then let them explore each others cage.

4.Put the NEWEST budgie in your original budgies cage but only leave them in for about 30mins then take the other budgie out.

5.Slowly increase the time until they are in the same cage all the time

Remember to cancel the whole operation if they start to fight and keep the other cage incase you need to separate them. DO NOT put a male and a female in the same cage unless you know how to look after the chicks properly. Do not put two females in the same cage unless they get along. Remember, do it slowly because how would you like it if you came home to find a stranger eating your food and watching your TV?

Also, put two of everything in the cage. Two cuttle bones 2 food dishes 2 water dishes ect.

If you want to do it with more of them then you need to put MORE cages next to each other, have MORE of everthing and stuff like that so for the moment i would just add one and take it from there

Also, quarenteen your new bird to make sure its not ill and if it shows any signs of illness take it to the vets and do not add it to your other bird unless your vet says yes

give the food to them once a week or daily.soon they will get used to them. or you can put the veggies in their food dish and bury it in side. soon your parakeet will dig it up, think that he found something awesome and slowly peck at it.

Fertile eggs will begin to hatch about 18 days from the date the female BEGINS incubating the eggs, which usually occurs with the second egg laid. Incubation is when the female sits on the eggs most of 24/7 (she'll come out of the nesting box to defecate, drink, and maybe eat, although the male feeds the female most of the time while she incubates the eggs/cares for the babies).

Since it's past 18 days for the first and second eggs laid (they probably aren't fertile), you don't start counting 18 days for the last egg until the last egg is laid. In other words, 18 days for the last egg laid isn't up until around 24 Sep, so there's still a chance the 3-5th eggs might hatch. It could be that none of the eggs laid are fertile/will hatch. Once any eggs hatch, the parents will care for the babies. What happens next depends on what your intentions are for the babies. If you hope to sell them or give them away, you'll need to handfeed them with baby parrot handfeeding formula and a handfeeding syringe in order to make them tame enough to make good pets.Any fertile eggs will hatch in the order laid, usually one every other day. Some adult birds push an emerging baby to the side to facilitate hatching, some keep the emerging baby under them while still sitting on the other eggs, some birds will keep an emerging baby half under them/half not under (a baby still has to be kept warm through the hatching process, which takes 24-48 hours). You should let her abandon any unhatched eggs on her own. If you remove eggs before she abandons them, she may continue to lay and lay, which isn't good for her health. When she realizes they won't hatch, she'll abandon them...you can then remove the eggs and destroy them.

Well, it depends on what size bird you want. Obviously, parakeets are larger and seem to be louder. Lovebirds have a softer, more high pitched voice. Lovebirds do a loud, even higher-pitched voice when they want to get attention. Lovebirds are affectionate, so you'd better get two to keep each other company. Parakeets are larger and are the birds you can train to talk.

i have always known it to be the color of the band right above the beak,,: if it is blue color it is a male and if it is a pinkish color it is a girl

The band can also be a purple color in which case is a male, or a brown or whit color which is a female. I have two parakeets.
