What to do if one mouse is pulling hair out of another mouse and the mouse is squeaking?
They are barbering, which is actually biting the hair off at the skin. They would have to either work it out themselves, as this is a show of dominance by the mouse doing the barbering, or you must separate them.
What are the similarities of white mice and dirty mice?
ones white the others black
The question can be improved by asking about the similarities between white mice and brown mice. All mice can become dirty.
And, the answer can be much improved by stating what the mice have in common since that is what is meant by similarities.
By the way, where are these black mice? I have never seen one. Are there photos of them?
Will a female mother rat eat her babies if the babies are alone for a week?
Rats are not known for canabilizing their young, but babies should not be left without their mother for any longer than about an hour. They need to nurse.
It usually takes a month maybe two to get back up to speed. But, that doesn't mean you will get pregnant right away. Many couples try for months before catching, so don't be dissapointed if you have a third period after coming off the birth control. You can increase your chances by using the rhythm method, try to have frequent sex when you are ovulation for the greatest chances of success. Good luck!
To answer you question I can only tell you truthfully I'm not quiet sure saying we just took in a baby mouse as well. The first thing I would do is hold the mouse in a position so they can swallo and put of bit of warm milk *not scalding milk more like room temp.* on the tip of your finger and brush the milk on their lips. As they get only put it in a very small cup and tip it towards them don't let it get in their noses though. You can try with a dropper and it might work but take it very slowly. hope this helps.
AnswerSorry me again, also what would be nice is a very small bottle ones they use for baby cats. Cause the drop will probably come out smaller. again take it slowly AnswerNO! you should never feed mice cow milk, but you may ues goat milk, other wise, yes you can.^^Adding onto their answer^^ Go for KMR, or a similar kitten milk formula, instead. Dilute it with water, make sure it's about room temperature, and use a dropper. Baby mice can easily drown and suffocate because liquid easily slips right into their little nostrils. If their eyes are still closed, they will want/need to eat approximately every 1-2 hours (yes, at night as well - they are nocturnal creatures, after all). Shortly after their eyes have opened they will eat a little less often (transition slowly to 3-4 hours), but they will have much more energy. Make sure they have room to move around and cannot escape out of their habitats. I'm currently taking care of two male field mice that are now approximately 4 weeks old. Their eyes were not yet open when they were found nursing from their dead mother in my backyard. Feel free to ask anything else and I will be happy to share my experiences.
Mice are very social animals. Their noises are their way of talking. Normal conversation for them sounds like quiet chatter. They also have quiet squeaks to show pleasure, as when they are being groomed. They have mid-range squeaks when they are being territorial, slightly louder short squeaks when they have fearful anticipation, and louder/longer high pitched squeaks when they are angry or hurt (physically or emotionally).
Do pet squirrels attract mice?
A ferret is of the family Mustela, or weasel. The scientific name for the ferret is Mustela putorius furo, or weasel-like stinky thief. Weasels and their cousins prey on small rodents so the likelyhood of a ferret attracting a mouse of any other rodent is nil. In fact having a ferret in your residence would deter any rodent from entering.
What are the breeding places of rats?
Pretty much anywhere the can be in the same place at the same time; under extremely dark places.
Mice are okay... RATS are better. They're much more interactive and won;t run away from you if you take them out of their cage.
As the "basefood" they should have the four grains: wheat, oats, rye and barley.
You can also add unsalted nuts, seeds and unsweetened corn flakes for example.
And for the "fresh food" you should give fruit, meat/fish, eggs, or vegetable's.
What age is it appropriate to handle a baby mouse?
You should try avoiding hadling the baby mice in the first few days or so. If you absolutely have to pick them up for their safety ect. then cup them in your hands gently. The mother can get stressed if you try to handle them to early and possibly kill the litter. Around day 5 is a good time to start handling the litter unless the mother is uncomfortable with you being around the babies.
It is good to go without food?
Obviously not. Food is a neccesity. Without food, you die.
However, it is alright to go without food if you are fasting. Such as Jews, Chrisians, and Muslims. But you must always go back to food.
Without food, your cells can die. Then they begin to eat themselves trying to get food. You can suffer a heart attack, stroke, and blood clots without it.
------------this is right.......if you don't eat you starve....................i bet if you don't eat you wont understand waht i am srtatnig to type rhigt now.
Rats are opportunistic scavengers; they will eat anything that does not move too fast or fight back too hard.
some rats don't touch you but if you corner one then they will go to attack you.
