- Ask once a day, and back it up with good reasons, stay calm, and only ask once a day
- Make/buy cat posters and hang them in your room to show how much you love cats

- Tell your mom you'll let her pick the cat
- Calmly ask your mom to sate the reasons that you can'thave a cat, then calmly explain what you'll do about each problem
- Do a lot of research and post your findings for all to see, so you know what you're talking about (you might impress your mom)
