I would consider the fact that he has a Mistress is "unfair to the Wife" in general, anything else on top of that is just

when you tell people your have supposedly touched someone.

There are no excuses for cheating and it's selfish and inconsiderate of not only your husband's feelings, but that of your daughter. Now you have put your daughter in the spot of wanting to protect both parents and not knowing what to do about the problem. 'You' need to take responsibility for your own actions and be honest with your husband. He won't be pleased, but, hopefully you both can communicate on better terms regarding the problems in your marriage or seek marriage counseling. If you don't feel reconciliation is an option then don't cheat; file for separation at least. You are suppose to be a role model for your daughter so start acting like it.

But with the length of your affairs, I hope it will not go there but be ready if your wife wants a divorce from you. And in this situation, I would not blame your wife if she wants a divorce, and you can't say you still love her and you don't want to loose her, because it will be wrong to use this excuses. now if you really or still love your wife, why did it last 2 years with your affair? No one gets a five year sentence for "hitting a woman." It was a whole lot worse than that. (Not that hitting anyone is acceptable). More likely he inflicted serious injuries and is a repeated offender. The easiest way to predict future behavior is by looking at past behavior. I don't believe any type of abuser can be rehabilitated. Like wild animals, the potential to attack is always present. IMO, anyone who gets involved with one is "living on borrowed time."

None at all. You may as well be the woman that he was incarcerated for hitting. My ex-boyfriend had assult charges pressed on him for punching his mom in the nose and breaking it. He was emotionally abuse towards me, and he would hit things (thankfully not me, though) when he was angry. 1. Use names like Baby and ect. So that you dont mix up there names. 2. Make sure they will never meet. By dating women that are very different from each other they won't be doing the same things like going to the same gym, going to the same art studio. Things like that. 3. Make dates that work, don't over crowd your schedule for the ladies. Pick a specific day or time that you'll spend time with them. 4. Check who your sending your text messages to! Always do this so that you don't send the wrong text to the wrong girl. 5. Delete all your text messages,emails,voicemails and ect when hanging out with one of the ladies. 6. Have your cellphone with you always, so that avoids snooping. 7. Make sure that your other girls don't call you on a phone that your girlfriend could pick up. Tell them to always call on your cell. - use your creative ways.

I am a man and here are my thoughts on this subject.

If he cheated then he is not to be trusted. If he has done it once there is the strong chance that he will do it again. He may never do it again but there is the chance. A man or woman who cheats is looking for something. If they don't find it they will keep looking until they find it. And then when they find out that it wasn't what they thought it would be they may go back to the beginning. Question their motives.

From my past experience my husband didn't left me for his mistress, but he was planning it if he had a chance to talk to me, but because he waited that's when I discovered what he was doing. Do I think that he will leave me, I think so because first of all he did love the other woman, and this woman are willing to wait for him or even be a part time lover. Do I know if he wants to stay with us, he said he would but its for our kids sake, his quote was I don't want to break my family. If its about our relationship he did know what he wanted, after all this other woman have most of the quality that he was looking for a partner.

Okay i am going to be honest, i personally will give him another chance if he cheated on u and didnt tell you then that's different i don't know much because i am only almost 11 but i have had lots of boyfriends and one cheated on me 10 girls at once and i still forgave him and now dating him it has been almost 2 years. They can act mean, if they feel they are being pressured into revealing the truth of their actions, or simply because they feel guilty for keeping such things secret.

You mentioned "people" so they could just be "good old boys." It doesn't mean he is seeing another woman. Since you either living together or married then you have a right to say you would like to go along for the trip and sure could use the break. If he declines then ask him straight out why. Unless the person cheating wants the help you can't force them to go for that help. It's a road they must take on their own. Most cheaters feel guilty, but still cheat and there are many reasons for especially habitual cheaters.

If this person refuses to commit to a relationship then the person should kick them to the curb. Cheaters who refuse help are a waste of time and energy.
