Don't look back as whatever reason for your decision was probably not your fault anyway. Telling you it was is just self justification to them. They probably weren't worth it as they did not care for what they did. You couldn't fully trust them anymore, there are more fish in the sea, move on, don't keep looking for the sharks, look for the fish.

If you find him becoming more distant and less affectionate with you that is one possibillity, another is if he asks you certain questions like, "would you be angry if i kissed another girl". Also if you find him wanting you to wear clothes or make you be who you aren't. This means he wants you to be more like "Her". Your best option, is to talk to him about it. You can tell if all he wants is sex from you. I guess I will say just use common sense and if you can all the sign that he do or did will be clear. When a man becomes close to you and you can really tell because he will make you feel special and you will be the center of his attention. A man will be happy just to be with you. He rather talk and get to know you in a lot of ways. He will be interested on where you came from, your dreams, your life schedule and many more. Don't get me wrong he will be thinking on how it will feel just to kiss you. But over all he will be happy just to hold you.

If all he want is sex the second time the two of you meet, he will start giving you hint, or maybe talk about little things when it comes to sex. Just use your better judgment and you will see a wonderful result.

i may not be bipolar, but i myself cheated when i was utterly hopeless for any help from anyone, and i had given everything i had for 13 years. It seems that when a person's sense of stability and hope are threatened, we act quite differently than we normally would. People with the "bi-polar" you mentioned might have much more serious issues of stability and hope than others...yes?

I feel it could be any one of these reasons:

1.) They see in her what they would like to have in a Woman.

2.) Want what they "can't" have.

3.) Want to be the hero and "save" her from who she's with at the moment.

4.) She has the experience.

5.) Just likes what he sees and wants to say I had that!

Forget it. Whatever happened it is "water under the bridge" and life goes on. You need to realize the mistakes that were made so you don't repeat them. You can not "make" a person love you, want you, or even like you. Move on.

aside from the routine snooping, observe his body language and look -- tho don't over do it -- for discrepancies between his words and his body language including his actions. at some point, voice your suspicions and ask him directly if he's cheating. most liars are not hard to find out if you're paying attention.
