Drain the radiator into a container. Remove the upper radiator hose at the engine end. Remove the 2 bolts from the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and thermostat and clean both surfaces. Install the new thermostat and housing and the hoes. refill the radiator.

They do vary, I would take your trim tag info from inside the glove box and your VIN from the dash and check with your dealer; that should give you the ratio for your car. Mark any year above I think '79 is stamped right into the axle housing

Very easy, remove the bezel screws with a correct size torx screw driver, once the bezel is off, remove the trim and then the clear plastic lens. Pull the gauge out, push new guage in until it clips in, install all parts in reverse order.

It's a stupid little plastic plug that can be stripped very easily. Take it to a rad shop and have them replace it.

To install a sterio in a vehicle you will need 3 wires to provide power and a pair of wires for each speaker. For an installation involving a vehicle that has all the wires cut and unmarked you will need a multimeter. Now locate the nessesary wires using this method...

Ground wires are normally black or green. Use your multimeter on the resistance setting, put one probe on a metal part of the car's chassis and the other on a black or green wire. When you find the wire that has 0 resistance that will be your ground. Mark this wire "Ground"

Next you will need a constant source (meaning power even if the ignition is off) and most vehicles will use a yellow wire. Switch your multimeter to the voltage detect setting Put the black probe to ground and use the red probe to check the wires. The ignition MUST BE OFF. When you find the wire mark it "+12v"

Next you will need a switched source (meaning power only if the ignition is on the on or Acc) most vehicles will use a red wire for this but check with the multimeter with the ignition ON once you find the wire turn the ignition OFF if the wire looses power mark that wire "ignition"

Great now you can wire your radio for power! Now you will need to find what wires go to what speakers. Wire your radio for power (heres a tip: ground the radio's chassis to reduce the risk of burning up the radio if you short something) and turn it on. Use 1 channel of the radio to test the wires until you find a pair that makes a speaker play music. Mark this wire to the corrisponding speaker. Once you have all the speakers marked you can wire the radio to the speakers.

Take your time and use electric tape. If your not sure then ask a pro for help.

The ASR, or Acceleration Slip Regulator, commonly known as "Traction Control" is (does) regulation for the traction of the car. Like the nickname implies, the ASR "button" (not botton, learn how to spell) controls traction to make sure the tires don't spin while taking off from a stop.

Air bubbles in radiator with engine running, sweet smell coming from exhaust pipe, overheating, coolant in oil, white foam on underside of oil cap, and low compression on one or more cylinders.

well it depends on what one you are talking about to change the front ones you have to go under the car there are 2 covers one for each side take them off and twist the turn signal socket and pull it out put new bulb in it and reverse proccess if you are talking about the side marker u have to do them from under the hood you change them the same way but no covers on them

Overheating can be caused by many things. First thing to do is determine if the water pump is functioning properly. When the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap and make sure the radiator is full. Now start the engine and watch and see if the coolant is flowing in the radiator. If you see the coolant flowing, that is a good sign the pump is OK. Also watch for air bubbles. If you see air bubbles this is a sign of a blown head gasket. Also smell the exhaust, and if it smells sweet or you see white smoke, look at the dipstick for moisture & under the oil cap, these are signs of a blown head gasket. Also the thermostat may be malfunctioning which can cause the radiator to not get enough coolant to cool off your engine. remove two screws that hold down the throttle body and use a c wrench the get the the second screw that is under the manifold and loosing it that way which will say you LOTS of time. boil so water and make sure that the thermostat contracts together when the water starts to boil. if it doesn't contract or only half of the coil is contracting then that is your problem. your options would be to buy a new run for about ten bucks or run without it which makes the car run cooler than ever but the heater will now take around 20 min to get warm. Now make sure the cooling fans, if electric are functioning as they should. The fan should come on any time the A/C is engaged. The fan will also come on once the engine reaches a preset temperature. If the fan is not working, check the fuse first, and then the fan itself. If both are good, look at the thermo sensor. If all of this appears fine, then you need to drain the coolant, and remove and replace the thermostat. Back flush the system with clean water, and then add a 50/50 mixture of the proper Antifreeze and Distilled water. Be sure and bleed the cooling system to remove any air in the system. Do this by means of bleeder valves, if equipped, or by leaving the radiator cap off, keeping the system full, front of car jacked up as high as possible, while the engine is running. You may also need to remove the radiator and have it chemically flushed, depending on how well the cooling system was serviced over it's lifetime. Caution: This particular engine sometimes has a problem with the intake plenum gasket leaking. This is serious and can damage the engine due to coolant entering the combustion chamber and also the possibility of hydro-lock. If coolant enters the combustion chamber in sufficient quantity and you attempt to start the engine, you can bend rods and do severe damage.

The 1988 Chevrolet Camaro signal flasher unit is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher unit will be to the right of the brake pedal.
