Because you have a vacuum leak in the system or your vacuum canister is leaking. When you accelerate the vacuum from the engine will drop. That will cause your system to loose vacuum and the floor/defrost door will go to its neutral position. To keep the vacuum up you have a canister that will hold vacuum. It must be air tight.

The turn signal flasher relay switch in your 2004 Chevrolet Express will be located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher relay switch will be a few inches above the brake pedal.

It is located in the front of the vehicle. You can use the users manual or talk to a mechanic to get assistance.

i found it to be the tail light harnesses go bad . a common problem with them because the bulb sockets short out.

Have you ever checked the air intake boot, that goes from your air filter, directly to your engine? It's a short, large ribbed hose that's rubber, but it's probably as hard as a tire now from age. Check between the ribbing on the hose to see if there's any holes or deterioration in the intake boot. Also, check to make sure that all the clamps on the boot (and all other hoses coming from the air filter, into the engine) are very tight and fully secure. If you do have any holes or deterioration in the air intake boot, then you can simply apply A LOT of auto duct tape around the entire boot (ribbed hose), until no air is able to escape or entire the boot. When I say A LOT of duct tape, I mean to duct tape the he!! out of it. If you don't want a duct-taped, yet functional air intake boot under your hood, then you can order a new one. I did this to a 1995 Nissan Maxima that had the same exact symptoms listed in your question & it works fine to this day.

is a interference motor-approx. $700 to have Chevy dealer replace t-belt and water pump as of sept. 07.recommend purchase of haynes 93-97 corolla/prizm manual for about 18.00 from overstock .com or 24.00 from partsamerica[schucks]after reading install details there is no way I'm going to attempt to do this job myself!

when changing tires can i reset the Tire pressure monitoring system with out going to a dealer?

Yes...Just did it on mine.

Let the van sit for at least 2 minutes. turn key to on position. push the dash settings button (second one down) choose relearn tire settings.... horn should honk twice to start learning. go to front left side tire first(drivers side) then clockwise around van. let out air or put in air for 2-3 seconds each, may take two three four times, the horn should honk 1 time, go to next tire do the same for each tire, after last tire(drivers rear) horn should honk twice. done.

if you do not have the buttons to set items, turn on key and press lock and unlock buttons on your door remote at the same time for a few seconds, that should activate the relearning .

you must set your tire pressures correctly...at least 55lbs front and 75 lbs rear.. happy learning.. Norm

disconnect negative battery cable, remove the two bolts that hold the starter, hold starter up and disconnect wires remove starter and install new starter reconnect negative battery cable

Water builds up in the pan the A coil is sitting in, overflows and goes inside the furnace. May short out electrical parts, could short out motor on fan.

you can't replace it you have to buy whole new driveshaft assy. about 650.00 from dealer. or go to junkyard,or driveshaft shop to see if they can cut off yoke replace bearing and re-weld which is what i did. 2004 is the only year for this.

The fuel filter on the 1999 Chevy express van 3500 with 350 engine is on the cross member of the frame behind the front door.

Get a new mechanic :)... just kidding, the leak is probably not in the line, maybe a bad valve.

on the 4.6L it is located passenger side of where the radiator hose enters the engine, mine has a wire with a black cap on it

If the owner's manual and a factory service manual are not available, put a gallon in it, run the engine for a minute, then recheck and top off as necessary.

seriously have somebody else do it and be very happy. I did mine and will never forget my 6 hours of agony will not ever do it again. So many stupid crap that just kills you. pay it's worth it.
