You can only watch 2 kids for pay in the state of GA. Many think it is 6 before you need a lic. but in reality that is the total you can watch if you DO have a lic. Your own kids do not count of course.

The decision to leave your child home alone is a very personal decision that needs to be made based on your feelings and experience with your child. Washington State does not have any laws or rules that say at what age a child can be left home alone. In general, children under 10 should not be left on their own, and babies and younger children should not be left alone even for a few minutes. Here are some questions to ask your self before you leave your child home alone. Does your child feel at all frightened or apprehensive about staying home alone?

Does your child follow your instructions and your rules?

Can you count on your child to tell you the truth?

Can your child be counted on to stay clearheaded in an unexpected or emergency situation?

Can you child calmly dial 911, give their full name (and yours), street address and phone number, and explain the situation?

You might feel most comfortable starting out leaving your child alone for short periods of time. Go slowly and make sure that you and your child are comfortable with the situation.

Private individuals do not make the decision about whether or not criminal charges will be made against another individual. The police and prosecuting authority makes this decision.

If you would like for the state to consider criminal charges against another individual, you should report the crime to the police. Any person can make a police report.

Furthermore, if there is sufficient evidence that warrants an arrest on an individual, a judge will issue a warrant and the person accused of the crime will be arrested.

But, going back to the original question even if there is enough evidence and you happen to be the main witness and the person pressing for this person to be prosecuted, it does not mean they are going to be prosecuted merely on your say so.

From my understanding, a parent can leave their child or children home alone at any age, as long as they think they are mature enough to handle it. Basically, there is not a law in Ohio about leaving a child alone. However, in the instance that something was to happen while the child or children were alone, then something would be done legally.

IF Months go by, and you havn't heard anything from the father, they really seem more interested in YOU then your child, don't call or anything on birthdays or Holidays, and personally won't claim the child... its all a mind game,they can't afford child support, and we find ourselves kicking oursleves in the "bum" wondering "Why him as the sperm donor?" i'm sorry, but that last bit of info is not accurate. I am petitioning for a baby right now whose mother likes to run around and have fun more than she wanted her baby, so i filed for custody. He was taken to foster care, but the father challenged my petition and is currently enrolled in the process of pleasing the court enough to take the child into his own custody. The court tried to order that his custody of the child would be contingent on, amomg other things, learning to speak English, and becoming a legal resident of the USA. The court did deem that way too difficult and time consuming. Now, I have also dealt with immigration alot, and I know it is way too expensive to just come out for one person.

A child support order is valid even when the person has been incarcerated, it is not "placed on hold". One of the terms of his or her release will be that they pay child support arrearages.

Certainly, if the child is still under the obligations of the parents, you can file for custody, if if no emancipation takes place. If the child refuses parental control, than file to have them emancipated, but state laws vary from state to state on this. In New York, child support continues to age 21, regardless of where the child lives.

Custodial decisions are based upon the best interest of the minor child/children and not upon the preference of any of the involved parties.

Depending on the age of the child and the circumstances, a child should be allowed to sleep with their parents. Mind you, you should not let this become a habit, but if the child is scared, sad, lonely or just needs to be close to cuddle, a night sleeping with the parents is a good bonding thing. A child over 13 should be old enough to handle situations without this privilege.

Depends on what he or she did. If its sever then they can be there for months to years. My ex served 7 months in juvi for running away from home. I think that right there can answer your question. If it wasnt serious then weeks to months at max. if the person is 17 and its serious then he may be looking at adult time or a youthful offender camp for a year or two or more. You gotta be more specific cause i can go on and on about this for hours
