Engine 1.1i = 3.2 litres

Engine 1.4i = 3.2 litres

Engine 1.6i = 3.2 litres

Engine 1.4HDi and 1.4HDi 16V = 3.8 litres

how do you change the rear light of a c5 citreon estate? I have reversed into somthing and the top half is bocken

at the back of the steering wheel below th centre s a tiny hole that you need toside a scew driver in and release the airbag, then you can see the bolt to release the wheel, remember to line up the front wheels straight before taking it off or you will break the comms 2000(switch consolebehind wheel)

Hold down the mileage trip button located on the speedometer BEFORE you turn ignition key on. Turn key and continue to hold trip until service indicator resets.

Take out spanner from the right hand rear floor compartment. Unscrew the bolt attaching the wheel from the inside of the boot.

the diagnostic socket is located (if right hand drive) under the glove box on the passenger Sid behind a panel that has a space to put in your finger and pull down the cover and their it is

On Peugeot and Citroen you must put the BSI computer to sleep before removing the battery otherwise it will damage the computer by spiking it. BSI computer is a very expensive to repair!

First you have to lift up the passenger seat and under u have a plastic top. Under that plastic lid is the battery. Place the red jaw on the + of the batterry and the black one on -. Start the engine and then without touching the jaws betwen them place them back on the jump starter

The brake lights are accessed through the rear hatch. Find the panel on the rear sides of the car. Pop out the panel and access the brake lights. Replace the bulbs.

There are 2 fuse boxes in C3. One in the glove box and the other under the bonnet next to the battery. You will need to remove the battery cover to access the fuse under the bonnet. The fuses are numbered so you need to know which fuse you want to change as the fuse may have different ratings.

Remove cam covers,and do job doon as a leak could cause cambelt to come off,replace belt with new one

The gearbox will have to removed to replace the clutch.

Disconnect battery earth lead (battery located under the front passenger seat)

Remove the engine cover

Disconnect the air flow sensor multi plug

Disconnect the reverse light switch

Disconnect the earth lead to the gear box

Remove the crank position sensor from the top of the gearbox (this is to protect the sensor from damage)

Remove the top bell housing bolts and starter motor bolts

Slacken the gearbox top mounting centre bolt

Removed the front wheels

Remove the engine under shield

Remove the engine to sub-frame mounting centre bolt

Disconnect the exhaust support bracket from the sub-frame

Unclip the power assistance steering hoses from their support bracket on the sub-frame

Support the steering rack with some cable ties and then undo the 2 securing bolts to sub-frame

Separate the lower suspension ball joints on both sides

Support the sub-frame

Remove the sub-frame securing bolts and lower to the floor

Drain the gearbox oil (remembering to replace the drain plug afterwards)

Remove the O/S drive shaft bearing support bolts and pop the drive shaft out of the gearbox

Pop the N/S drive shaft out of the gearbox and cable tie clear to one side

Remove gearbox closing plate

Remove the hydraulic slave cylinder (no need to disconnect the hose)

Pop the gear selection cables off the selector mechanism and then remove the unit

Disconnect the speedo drive multi plug

Support the engine with a long axle stand (take care not to damage the sump)

support the gearbox with a transmission jack

Undo the top gearbox mounting slackened earlier

Lower the engine and gearbox until the top mounting bolt is clear

Remove the remaining bell housing bolts

Pull the gearbox and out

Lower to the floor

Refitting is reverse of removal, check the clutch environment for any signs of wear or oil contamination, rectifying before fitting the new clutch. Remember to top up the gearbox oil.

Not got a clue who makes the citron car never heard of it. But Citroen Cars are made in various locations in France, as they are a French car company, also work with Peugeot and Fiat on certain modles. :-))

The battery is covered with battery box on the right side. Open the box and it will come off as it is in two parts. Unscrew and remove the terminals. Lift out the battery and replace it with a new one. Put back the terminals and tighten the bolts on the terminal. Replace the battery box cover which should click together once they are properly aligned.

Blown bulb by the sound of it.

Just take one cable off the battery for approx. 5 minutes and then put it back again. The computer will reset itself and hopefully the light will go out. Remember to reset the clock etc after this operation.
