If you are sure its just not marking territory then it could be a UTI, diabetes or kidney failure. Is it drinking a lot of fluids too? Get some blood work done on the dog if your really concerned.

The beauty of Cockers is that they can handle a lot of exercise (mine 22 miles over the course of two days and she is 9!!) but can also do with less when the weather is crappy. However, they do need 2 walks a day, as does any dog. Also, bear in mind that they are sporting dogs so they love to exercise including swimming, running, and of course chasing balls.

Their actual ears should be just slightly longer than their nose, but the fur could grow a little bit longer but not much. so feel free to cut it :)

You should have your dog examined by your veterinarian, it may be Vaginitis or Pyometra.

spaniels noramlly have long dropopy ears, long fur, long snout, not the smartest dog in the world or the best with kids but its really all in the way you raise the dog, i have a cocker and shes great with kids bcuz we trained her to be when she was a puppy.

Get rid of this animal right away, before something tragic happens! So yes, Cocker Spaniels will gulp down meat, sometimes to they are sick and bellies can not take anymore.
