Originally, Converse shoes were designed for basketball players to wear on the court. They were white and purely sport related. Things have changed since then. A positive aspect of the Converse brand is that there are many different options to choose from. A con to these shoes is that for however fashionable they are, these sneakers are not very warm in the winter. I'd recommend something else for blustery weather. Also, be careful not to get the bright colors wet from rain. If you do, the dye will bleed onto your socks. I learned that firsthand!

The pros for Converse shoes far outweigh the cons though, and I'd say if you haven't already purchased your first pair to do so immediately. I'll admit that they're my guilty pleasure (I have six pairs!)

learning how to draw ortho's is a skill which is unparalleled in use in industry, not for the practical uses but the understanding of drawings is a skill which can be put to use in most engineering jobs involving the creation of a product which may have to be accurate within a 0.01mm tolerance.

orthographic drawings done by hand can take even the most experienced of people hours to complete, due to the creation of computer aided design the need to create ortho's by hand has become obsolete.

any inaccuracies in a hand drawn ortho which are taken to factory can effect the quality or practicability of the design.

computer aided design has qualities which far outweigh hand drawn ortho's like they are more accurate and don't require the use of guidelines which may confuse those who aren't familiar with orthographic drawings.
