Yes, you can. Just install whatever operating system you're wanting on the server and use it like normal. I know of a few people that have done this and I want to try it but I don't have a couple thousand dollars to blow on a server.

If you are fortunate enough to come by a SERVER UNIT, then all you have to do is wipe the hard drive(s), Format it/them and install your operating system onto the primary hard drive. Check the BIOS to determine this, make sure you have enough space...at least 10 Gigabytes, which a SERVER should easily have...and set the primary drive to boot up first...easy.

You can hook more than one printer up to your system. Your default printer is basically the one that your document automatically goes to when you click on print. Whichever printer you use the most is the one you want to set as your default. It is usaully going to be the printer that you use to do basic tasks like print emails, letters, or pages that you just want a hard copy of. You would leave more specialized printers or printers that use expenive inks as printers that you switch to, instead of your default.

Mine is on for 24 hours straight, but i turn it off eventually Turning your computer off and on repeatedly actually causes more "wear and tear" on it than leaving it run continuously. It's still a good idea to reboot it periodically. One reason is to clear up any memory that might not have been fully released by the application that last used it.
