What is the function of the functions keys?
The function keys are the top row of keys on the keyboard, normally labelled F1-F12.
By themselves they have no function - they are 'blank' spare keys meant for programs that want a place to put various keyboard shortcuts.
That is, the function of the function keys is not determined by the keys but by the program using them, and could be anything or nothing.
I need to know because my HELLA annoying brother figured out you can press function f1 and it puts the computer in sleep mode (basically off) and does it ALL THE TIME. Ive tried to disable the shortcut, but can't figure out how

What should you use to clean a keyboard?
Just get a can of compressed air that's all it takes not all the steps listed
1. Flip your keyboard and shake it few times. Crumbs and other small pieces should fall out from under keys.
2. Use a compressed air to blow dirt etc. from under keys.
3. Use a dry rag or special damp wipes (you can buy them in computer or office stores) to wipe a surface of your keyboard.
