What it means is that your press "Ctrl" (Control) and the key "V" to past from your clip board. To copy something to the clipboard, Select something (often text) and hold down Control, then press the C key for "Copy". Then release the Control key and the C key. Now move to a text box (such as Word or Note Pad) and do the same thing, only press the V key instead of the C key. You can also do this with Files, Pictures, and text. However, you cannot do this with embedded videos. To do this Copy and Past operation on a Mac, do exactly the same thing, but instead of pressing Ctrl, press Cmd, or Apple key, or Command, whatever you want to call it.

The home row keys are the initial resting place for fingers in touch typing. Once they are recognized, the location of keys for the rest of the alphabet are automatically known for a trained typist.
