What is better led TV or lcd TV?

so...The LED is going to be the latest and the greastest. The LED is going to give more of a brighter color off due to the side lighting instead of the lighting being in the middle of the picture. The LED are going to be more dynamic then an LCD. The LCD is still going to be a really good TV but will be thicker on the bottom due to the flourescent lighting on the bottom

Shamelessly copied from the Wikipedia article (which is copylefted, admin ftr)

Here are the advantages over standard LCD:

  • Produce images with greater dynamic contrast.[8]
  • With Edge-LED lighting they can be extremely slim. Models on the market can be approximately one inch thick.[8]
  • Offer a wider color gamut, especially when RGB-LED backlighting is used.[9]
  • Less environmental pollution on disposal.[8]
  • Generally 20-30% lower power consumption.[citation needed]

The only clear disadvantage is that LED TVs have a higher sales price.

From an objective point-of-view (or as much as possible, considering the word "better" is subjective by nature), LED TVs for the win!

Is a monitor that says it is digital dvi-d with hdcp and analog 15-pin d-sub vga able to be viewed like a tv and do you need to subscribe to hd with your cable provider?

Yes and yes. "dvi-d with hdcp" Here is my understanding of it all. First dvi-d means digital signal only. hdcp (HD) means High-definition (CP) means copy protected i.e. you can't record the signal. As for the other part of the question. Is it able to be viewed like a tv and do you need to subscribe to hd with your cable provider?" Yes but, you have to have a cable box with a DVI output connector. Or some newer DVD players have dvi output. You didn't say what the name of your cable service is so i don't know if you have to subscribe (pay that is ) for HDTV or not. I'm on Cox cable and get HDTV for free.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of call centers?

Advantages:

Today's world is full of opportunities, but mainly for those who have a degree and good references. For those who just have a degree with no experience, a call center is a heaven for them.

You just need to have a sense of languages and communication and that's it!

The amount you may earn in day shift will be half of what you may earn in night shifts. You can make a career in a call center just by following simple steps.

don't jump like a monkey from one company to another stick to one good organization and you will be promoted as per your abilities.

Second line (who answer more difficult questions or who deal with VIP customers) make more money that first line (starting) agents. If you get promoted to supervisor, you will see your salary increase, but also your responsibilities.

Disadvantages:

Health will be the first disadvantage. Working in a night shift affects your life physically in many ways. The shifts are rotational and accordingly you have to rotate the times of your meals and sleeping. You hardly eat at home and may need to rely on cafeteria food, ready-made meals or local food stores.

Stress in the work environment, alone already a health risk, may also lead to other unhealthy traits like smoking, drinking, binge eating or drug abuse.

Sitting still in one spot for long times is also a health risk, but can be mitigated by taking sufficient breaks, drinking enough water and stretching if you feel stiff. This adds to the eye strain you might develop from staring at a screen for continuous hours. This may also lead to headaches.

Your social life is very irregular, and you will have difficulty planning or making family meetings and relationships.

How do you switch between internal and external monitors on most notebook computers?

Usually it is a special function keypress. Press the Fn key, usually near the ctrl and alt keys at the front left. Then press one of the function keys, usually the one with an extra symbol in the same color as the Fn key that suggests switching monitors. Perhaps two little monitor icons with a / between them.

How many pixels in a 8x11?

Pixels are a measurement of the resolution of an image. For example, old laser printers used to print in 300x300 pixels per inch, then came 600x600 prints. I'm sure you're asking "Why are you talking about laser printers when I asked about pictures?" Because the premise is the same. An image that is 1 inch by 1 inch that use the 600x600 resolution would have a file size roughly twice that of a 300x300 resolution.

All of that to tell you that no one can really tell you, you will have to find the resolution of the image, find out how many pixels are in a square inch of that resolution, then multiple it by the size image you have.

Most likely water damage.Water got into one of the outer layers of the display.Try putting indirect heat on it. No hairdryers! Will absolutely destroy it. Try turning up the heat at home. The screen needs to dry for awhile, like a week. So no turning the monitor on. You can use the computer if you can somehow project the monitor on another screen or your TV.
