What are the differences Between MS Dos and Windows?
Well, with MS-DOS the user communicates directly to operating system by using a variety of commands that can perform tasks and actions.
MS-Windows is graphical, to navigate the operating system you click different parts such as the taskbar, desktop icons to access certain parts of the operating system.
Intergration: MS-DOS can be accessed through a Windows based operating system by going to 'command promt' or 'CMD.exe'

It depends on what you have set-up for the computer to boot-up. A normal setting is for it to boot from the hardrive or if you are on Linux the setting normally is;

What are the three basic rules for creating passwords?
There are no specific rules for creating passwords (other than not putting it on a post-it note and putting it on your computer!).
Many organizations will require that you have a password with one or more of the following:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one capital letter, i.e. A-Z
- At least one number, i.e. 0-9
- At least one special symbol (!@#$%^&*)
However, the best passwords are long passwords. The password alongtimeagoinagalaxyfarfaraway is actually much harder to crack than Fred*123. So the phrase "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away" or alongtimeagoinagalaxyfarfaraway is not only easier to remember but also harder to crack.
How can you protect your computer from malware?
In order to protect your computer from malware, it is a good idea to have an anti-virus program set up. Try Avast or AVG, as these are both successful and free. You also will need to have a firewall.
What is the difference between relative URL and absolute URL?
An absolute path refers to the path to a file on a computer. For example, on a Unix system, an absolute path begins with a '/' and on a Microsoft Windows machine, it will begin with a drive letter, a ':' and a backslash (eg 'C:\') or a '\\' indicating a path to another computer.
A relative path is the path to a file from the current directory. On a unix system this path will begin with a character other than a '/' (any other character could begin a relative path). For example, if one is currently in the directory /home/user42/ and there is a directory named /home/user42/mail/ then the relative path to mail is simply 'mail/'. If there is a directory /home/user41/songs/ then the relative path is '../user41/songs/'. If one is in the directory /home/ then the relative paths are user42/mail/ and user41/songs/, respectively.

What are the similarities and differences between Macs and PCs?
In my humble opinion, Windows is inferior to Macintosh. The Macintosh is built with very good graphics capabilities and is very user-friendly. The Windows,on the other hand, has stretched graphics whenever a widescreen monitor is used The user reports on the latest Windows operating system are very bad, but the ones for Mac OS X 10.5 are just the opposite!
What is the difference between geographic information system with other information system?
There is very less difference between GIS and land information system.
One is that Land info. system is subset of GIS .
Actually GIS takes care of the entire geography of the earth ,it takes into
account the every part of the earth be it land ,mountain,ocean ,desert,lake and many more geographical structure whereas the land info. sys. just gives the information about

1 MB (megabyte) may either refer to exactly a million bytes, or a bit more, depending on the definition used.
