Do road test instructors check to make sure you're really wearing contact lenses if your permit says you need corrective lenses or do they take your word for it?

Most of the time, they will trust you if you tell them you are wearing them. Road test instructors are human beings; it is so obviously dangerous to drive without required prescription lenses that they will probably not check.

So please wear your prescription lenses when you are driving. To drive safely, you need to be able to read all signs and indications from far enough to be able to act upon them, and you need to be able to react quickly to any change in your field of view. Not wearing your glasses or contact lenses when they are required to drive a car shows that you do not value the lives of others and is almost suicidal. gygjgjlg

How do lens cleaners work?

Lens cleaners typically contain a combination of solvents and surfactants that help dissolve and remove dirt, oils, and smudges from lenses. The solvents break down grime while surfactants lower the surface tension, allowing the cleaning solution to spread evenly and lift debris away. Many lens cleaners are designed to evaporate quickly without leaving residue, ensuring clear vision without streaks. Additionally, some formulations may include anti-fog or anti-static properties to enhance lens performance.

Can contacts grow onto your eyes?

No. I think it's kind of like asking can gloves grow on your hands. But no. It's not a natural part and it won't exactly become one with your eye.

What coatings are available for lenses?

There are anti-scratch coatings that increase the surface hardness of lenses (an important feature when using plastic lenses) and anti-reflective (AR) coatings that eliminate almost all glare.

Is it harmful to use eye lenses to make your eyes change color?

Some people may have hazel eyes and depending on what color of clothing they are wearing their eyes may look darker, green or blue. If the person wants to have green eyes then lenses can do this. However, there is always a risk of hygiene problems and scratching the eyeball area to consider.

What are the specs for Wharfedale L1911W-A eg progressive scan 720p 1080i?

It runs my PS3 at either 480i/p, 575i/p (I think), 720p and 1080i. If I try and run 1080p there is a picture but the colours are distorted. It's hard to find TV's smaller than 40" that will handle 1080p and if you can I don't think they will be as small as 19".

Is it possible to make a gun using concave and convex lens?

If you have a groove in your eye from not changing out your contacts what can be done to fix it without surgery?

just rinse out your eye every couple of hours with eye solution. don't wear glasses or contacts for a while, and close your eyes as much as possible...i think this will help...i didn't exactly know what you meant by groove, though.

What do you do if your contacts rip?

If you rip or tear a contact lens, there is nothing that can be done but to replace it. Do NOT try wearing a damaged contact lens as this could cause serious damage to the eye.

I have soapy bubbles on the top of the water in an inground pool I added algaecide yesterday aft What is causing this and how can I get rid of it- bubbles more after contact with H2o?

You have a common problem. You used: 1. An inexpensive algaecide. 2. Overdosed with an inexpensive algaecide 3. Water in pool is "out of balance" Algaecides are not the single answer for algae. You must have your pool balanced> Total Alkalinity, pH , Calcium Hardness, Free chlorine, Combined chlorine, Stabilizer/Cyanuric Acid. If you have an above ground pool you probably do not have an automatic chlorinator which is a good thing to have. I'd go to a reputable swimming pool store that offers water analysis. They might not be all that thrilled to help you. If they offer computerized analysis offer to pay them or tell them you plan to purchase the needed chemicals. If you have an inground pool, shame on you for not using a pool store for your supplies. They can be your best friend when you are in need of help.

Is it damaging to leave your contacts in for months at a time when you are supposed to take them out every night?

Yes. It makes the eyes much more susceptible to diseases of the eyes and can damage the eyes due to a lack of oxygen getting to the iris and pupil. And by not taking them out, you are not cleaning them properly. You probably can see a lot better than you think, due to protein build up on the lenses. Follow the directions and your eye doctor's instructions carefully! You are risking your vision!
