Dachshunds can be any colorr such as Black and Brown (My dogs color), plain Black, plain Brown, Dapple which is a grey and black and brown mix, or a reddish color.

You should ALWAYS feed and treat miniature dogs just like any other dog, if you have a big dog and a mioniature dog and you start treating the miniature dog special and the big dog normal the miniature dog will get cocky and the big dog will feel left out and mostly likely try and copy the miniature dog or worse, try and kill it, or injure it.

Could be allergies. If you are referring to a something that sounds like a cross between coughing and choking it's probably what is referred to a 'reverse sneezing'. Mine do that when they drink water too fast, something to do with a flap in their throat. When it is bad, what I do, and works although it sounds weird, is wrap your hand around their snoot and blow air into their nose (don't blow at their nose, blow into it...not too hard though, it'll make them fart....just kidding, but really not too hard. Just a couple of short puffs seems to do the trick), it flips the flap back the right way.

that's strange, dogs are highly intelligent and don't usually pee where they sleep. Did u let it out? is there another dog that uses that cage? Try letting it out more and if there is another dog using it, then get it one of its own ASAP!

yorkies don't weigh that much when grown!however if one did,by dog growth rates,it would weigh about 600 pounds..........

They should only way up to 12 pounds. They can't gain that much weight. 12 pounds is even on the fat scale. Make sure your yorkie stays nice and healthy to maintain full body growth.

A male can breed all his life and a female can if she till has cycles but I don't suggest it.

If you are unsure about grooming then perhaps you should pay for a visit to the groomers and they will show you how to do it in future. Otherwise, carefully clip between the toes and check the ears for mites or any debree. Then you may wish to trim the belly and tail hair so that it does not drag along the floor.

Mini Dachsund dogs are potty trained just like the usual potty training on other dogs. You should never yell at them when training. Use a stern, low-pitched "no" or "bad puppy" to communicate displeasure. Screaming or yelling can cause pressure or stress on your puppy.
