What Types of dances were popular in the 1920's?
The most popular dance of the 20's was the Charleston. Every time you see a movie set in that era it is the Charleston that you see. Other very popular dances of the time were the Lindy Hop which was named in honour of Charles Lindbergh who was the first man to fly solo across the Atlantic. His 'hop' across the ocean garnered much publicity and the Lindy was part of it. The Black bottom and the Foxtrot were also very popular. The Foxtrot is still being danced today. The 20s were the "Jazz Age" and
most music and dances were based on African beats and rhythms. The rhythm was
'syncopated that is very fast so these dances were usually only danced by young people though older people did try them out much like today. The fast beats of the 20s
led to the 1930s and 40s when the big band and 'swing' music was very popular.
You can start pointe when your dance teacher thinks your feet are strong enough ;)

It can and at the same time it cant. Ive had friends who went through ur phase and had been asked out by those guys and danced and may even had their first kiss with them. Thatz that happy ending. But it cant always be like that. I dont know about ur guy, but some guys can be total jerks. My cousin in high school relly liked this guy and he knew it too, but he didnt like her back. But he always stared at her and just teased her playfully, but he does that to all the girls that like him because alot of girlz do. He just does that to make them jealous. Everyone knows that.
So, it can be both ways. If u relly want to no then just ask him straight up. Dont ask ur friends to find out for u, because they might say he likes u and then u find out he doesnt. Im talking through experience so, seriously trust me on this one. Only way to find the true answer is ask him face-to-face, NOT ONLINE EITHER. It wont be relly embrassing because he already no's u like him. So, what do u have to lose?

What does doess efface means in ballet?
Literally "obscured" or "erased".
In direct connection with ballet, it means "open" as when your legs do not cross each other; they are "open" to the audience. The opposite of efface is croise or "crossed."

La Jota, at one time was the most popular dance performed by the Spanish Senoritas and Caballeros in Spain. Apparently, they brought it with them to many areas of the world, including a town called Moncada, Tarlac in the Philippines. The people from Moncada adapted the dance and through time, created their own version uniquely Filipino, calling it La Jota Moncadena. The use of bamboo castanets make the dance lively and delightful to watch.
The clicking of castanets accompanies this dance with influences of polka, waltz and mazurka
