If you mean kind of a little model of a rain forest, then what you can do is take the termocol and bend it so it forms a board. Then use the card board to cut out grass, animals and more. color in everything and then use some nail polish or varnish to cover it off.

People are cutting down the rain forests so people can have more space to build. Way back when, the Spanish came and were trying to kill all of the people in the Amazon; the people were dead but the plants and some animals were not. The trees were burnt to the ground and many animals did die but when the trees dies it was kind of like fertilization because the seeds fell and were planted in the ground. Over time the plants grew back and the animals came too. The Amazon was in full recovery until we came around and decided that we wanted more space to build. We are cutting down the Amazon also because scientists want to examine how it became the "Animal Kingdom."

It would decrease the amount of plant and animal life in the area.

1. Raise funds for organizations like the WWF (World Wildlife Fund). You can raise funds via a bake sale, lemonade stand, etc. Even a little

2. You can create a campaign to educate people to avoid palm oil. This is because it is grown on huge plantations, which are grown on cleared

rainforest land, and the more palm oil people buy, the more plantations expand into the rainforest habitat.

3. You can also create a campaign to educate people on buying Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood and paper products. This is

good because many if not most wood and paper products are harvested illegally and irresponsibly, and then imported to the US. This contributes

to deforestation of all kinds of forests, including rainforests, unlike FSC certified products, which are sustainably harvested. You might also want to

research which products are FSC certified for each category (for example, what are good paper towels, ink jet paper, etc.) This will make it much
