What do you do if there is no hope?

There is always hope. God gives us hope each and everyday. Even if you don't believe, try praying before you go to bed. Tell him about your problems and try to open your heart. I promise if you truly try to have a connection God will answer your prayers in some way or another. It might not be the way you want, but he will do something. The answer might not come as soon as you would like. Just remember, things could ALWAYS be worse. There's starving kids in Africa that are dying everyday. You should be thankful for what you have.

Answer:

Obviously there are situations where you aren't going to come out at the far end (mine disasters, terminal cancer. old age, submarine accidents and so on). It isn't going to matter what you do, nothing is going to change. So folks write notes to relatives if they have time or record messages in other ways. Some opt to kill themselves to conserve air or rations for others that are trapped with them, others steal everything they can for themselves.

Less serious cases which people describe as having no hope - recoverable sickness, job loss, marriage breakups, etc. - are not terminal and your own hard work and effort will see you through. Don't count on supernatural help. Professional counselling, police, EMT and friends are going to be more help.

How does tragic suffering differs from pathetic or sad feelings?

Are you emo if you don't cut?

How does a teenager get put at risk of expiriencing suicide after someone has taken there life in there family?

A teenager who loses a member of their family by suicide can be called 'a suicide survivor'. More generally a "suicide survivor" is an individual who remains alive following the death by suicide of someone with whom they had a significant relationship or emotional bond.

Cain (1972: 12) wrote about the predicament of many survivors of suicide, including, in some but by no means all cases "their torment and their desperate need for psychological assistance". He mentioned survivors' reactions that have included reality distortion, fractured family relationships, guilt, disturbed self-concept, impotent rage, mis-identification with the suicide, depression and self-destructiveness, search for meaning and incomplete mourning.

Some, all or none of these reactions may occur in an individual survivor of family suicide. Each person's response is unique as indeed is each act of suicidal behaviour. But it is known and accepted that, complex psychological responses containing 'guilt, shame, unmet yearning and unresolved grief' (Cain, 1972: 14) may, in an unknown but limited number of cases, lead to pathological depression that could be acted out in 'implacably self-destructive ways of life...and direct suicidal behaviour - suicidal impulses, fantasies, threats, preoccupation, repeated suicide attempts and completed suicides'.

Significantly, Cain (1972: 14) states that survivors frequently volunteer and often helpfully serve as lay staff in suicide prevention agencies.

If you have experienced a family suicide, you may be able to help yourself and others by seeking professional psychotherapeutic support, in order to come to terms in a healthy way with your serious loss and in recovery, to continue to live your life fully and productively and so to deliver all of your potential as a human being.

Why do you feel so ugly whilst all the other girls are so pretty?

This is a somewhat difficult question, since we, of course, do not actually know what you look like. However, I can still tell you that people often have trouble seeing themselves objectively, and society in general subjects us to constant advertisements designed to make us feel insecure about our appearance, so that we will spend more money on beauty products. Whatever you may look like, you are a beautiful person if you are compassionate toward other people.

It can also depend on your age. Preteen and teen years can be especially rough on anyone's self esteem. Your peers expect you to fit into very tight sets of style and norms. You are going through a lot of changes physically, mentally, and emotionally while trying to keep up with grades, listen to the right music, read the right books, keep your parents happy, worry about dating, and everything else you have going on in your life. Keep in mind that whatever you are going through, you are usually your own worst critic. You are probably seeing yourself as so much worse than other people are seeing you. Sometimes people may say some awful things, but chances are, they are having the same doubts about themselves that you are. It is common for people to make fun of you to feel better about themselves. It isn't right, but it is how some people do (even some adults). The ones that are being the most cruel are usually the ones that are privately the most miserable. It is easy for an outsider to say, but it almost always gets better. Hang in there. Realize that you are in all likelihood nowhere near ugly, and to someone somewhere, you are gorgeous. For now, just focus on being the person you want to be. You have to find happiness somewhere besides what you look like, no matter how beautiful are.

Is there a disorder that attract others with disorders?
