How many pictures on a 2MB memory card in 12 megapixel camera?
Depends on the resolution and quality settings. Around 300 at highest settings.
What shutter speed should you use at night?
The basic answer is as slow of a shutter as possible without blurring the picture. With no flash and no tripod I am not steady enough to get a sharp exposure at much less than 1/80th of a second. If there is a tripod involved things change. For pictures of people you might get away with as low as 1/40th of a second, but the people would have to know to hold more still than usual for the picture. 1/30th or 1/20th might be used with a flash, where you wish for dim lights in the background such as city lights are desired to be seen, the flash will expose the people and the shutter being open will give the background more time to come through. On a tripod I've exposed as long as 30 seconds, for star field pictures, or interesting pictures of buildings only lit by small security lights or moonlight. You can take a great picture in what seems like darkness with a tripod and remote, even better with a camera with mirror lock-up to get really sharp long exposures.

What is the best camera company?
Which sounds like a stupid answer, but it's not. There are a lot of good camera companies. In Japan, Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Mamiya are all good camera companies. Rollei and Leitz are both great German camera companies, Hasselblad is a fine Swedish camera company, and Sinar Bron is a good Swiss camera company. It also depends on what KIND of camera you want--the cameras Canon makes are nothing like the ones Sinar Bron makes. Canon and Nikon are the two largest camera companies right now, with Canon still the leader in quality cameras. Olympus has some great new technology that looks promising for the future.

What are The photography Requirements?
In order to be a photographer, you don't really need any qualifications.
All you really need to know is the concepts of photography and exactly what you are doing. Also its good to have an understanding in what you are photographing, for example how skateboarders do what they do. You'll need good people skills if portraiture is what you want to get into.
You can get qualifications in photography but in my opinion, all you really need is the passion, and a good portfolio..
Do digital cameras have shutters?
Short answer: Yes, if you define "shutter" widely enough.
Long answer: Rather than a physical shutter as one would have with a film camera, many digital cameras simply turn the sensor on and off as needed (called electronic shutter). This is usually used in point-and-shoot digital cameras. A digital SLR camera, on the other hand, will usually have a physical shutter which opens for the needed duration, just like a film camera. Some SLR cameras, like the Nikon D40 (and probably many others) use both a physical shutter and an electronic shutter; having the latter permits almost unlimited flash sync speed.
Is redrawing a drawing copyright infringement?
Yes, unless you have permission from the copyright holder of the original, or an exemption in the law. For example, if you are copying a work in order to learn a technique, that use should be defensible as fair.
Why use a digital camera instead of still frame from camcorder?
1 - If you make a 'mistake' during shooting - you can simply erase the shot and re-take it.
2 - You don't need to send anything away to be developed. The pictures you take are instantly produced, and can be downloaded to a computer for printing or editing.
Can photography be done without a camera?
A photogram is a kind of photograph made by placing an object or objects on a photosensitive surface (photographic paper or film) in a darkened room and exposing it to light. The image is developed normally, and the resulting image has been made without a camera.
How many pictures can a 8GB memory stick hold at 9 mega pixels?
Umm, tons. And it depends.
If you shoot regular JPEG images, those image files should be approximately 5MB each. 8GB is 8000MB. 1600 images?
Most cameras, assuming they accept 8GB cards, will display right on the main screen how many pictures are remaining.
It also depends on content, some images inherently require more information to represent reasonably(ie they compress less during JPEG compression), so the image size may vary between 3-4MB and 7-8MB.
If you shoot RAW images or TIFF images, then those files are much larger (as much as 20MB/each) and you will fit much less on a card, like about 400.
The depth of field in a photograph is controlled by the?
Depth of field on a camera is controlled by the aperture. The aperture is basically the size of the opening in the lens. A large aperture (or opening) creates a shallower depth of field and a small aperture creates a greater depth of field. Aperture, along with shutter speed, determine how much light goes into the camera. The size of the aperture is indicated by the f/stop number. The numbers usually range from about f/1 to around f/64. The smaller the number is, the larger the aperture is and the shallower the depth of field, meaning less space is in focus.
Additional AnswerDepth of field is also affected by the focal length of your camera's lens. For any given aperture, longer focal length lenses (telephoto lenses) have a much narrower depth of field than a standard lens, and shorter focal length lenses (wide-angle lenses) have a much wider depth of field than a standard lens.

The latin word for "light" is "lux."
What are some similarities between analog and digital cameras?
An analogue camera uses film but a digital camera does not.
This area, equivalent to the eye's retina, is replaced by a silicon chip known as a Charged Coupled Device( CCD). Light enters via the lens and falls on to many tiny pixel elements etched on to the chip. Light is turned in to a tiny amount of electrical charge and each cell's content is sequentially moved across the chip like a line of buckets handed from one person to another until it reaches the edge of the chip. This 'Bucket Brigade Device' then stores the [pixel elements in the memory card for printing out.
Well, a thing i know for sure: photography is certainly more aproachable in these days, therefore it is also more popular.
