Generally if you are on the guide & are unable to view all of your channels you are subscribed to, it's the result of the the guide not being on, "All Channels." If you go to the guide in the upper left hand corner it should say All Channels. If the guide does not say this, you simply need to press the guide button again & you will notice the words displayed will change each time you press the guide button. Once you are on "All Channels" again check your channels & the problem should be resolved.

I called Polaroid and they said they don't HAVE universal codes (But plan to do so some time in the future).

Yes, you can receive Bravo channel on a Dish newtork, however the channel number will be different. This channel only available in USA, not in other countries. Therefore I cannot test for myself of which channel it is.

By re-programming the remote, it will automatically override the previously programmed code. Following the same steps (listed below) you can address the remote any number of times.

Addressing Remote to TV:

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.

2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.

3.) Enter code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.

4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working.

5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

The satellite dish is usually places on the roof when one subscribes to Direct TV. Typically, a technician will come and install the dish as they are able to locate the most ideal place.
