How do you reverse a dogs mentality when it comes to abuse?
In general, dogs are very accepting of people, even after they have been abused, but sometimes abuse results in very negative behaviors. However, you don't want to do anything that will make things worse, either.
Honestly, an abused dog is a situation that requires a specialist (just as dealing with an abused child requires help from a psychologist or other experts). I recommend that you consult with someone at your local SPCA and get a referral to a reputable person (who you should offer to pay, if you can) who knows a lot about rehabilitating abused dogs. It is a slow, complex task and not always possible, but very much worthwhile when successful.
Good luck, and do all you can for that dog.
How do you stop a puppy to stop crying for his mum?
When I first brought home my puppy "Roxy", she would cry all night for her mom, it broke my heart! Someone told me to by an old ticking clock and put in under the pillow in her bed. It reminds the pup of a heartbeat, this worked like a charm and Roxy has been great ever since! Hope this helps your sleepless nights!
yes they are. more then a lab or a collie. they respond very fast. i would take one any day.
When should you add a cue to a behavior in dog training?
Add the cue once your dog has learned to perform a behavior to your satisfaction.
If your dog is reliably responding to your hand signal for "down" (reliably = 8/10 times), add the verbal cue in this order to create an association to the sound "down" and the behavior your dog has already learned:
Keep the verbal cue and the hand signal SEPARATE, or your dog may become dependent on seeing them in combination to perform correctly. With enough consistency and repetition, your dog will learn to associate the sound "down" with the behavior you want!
the poop comes out there butt hole daaaaaaah and the pee comes out there privte part you retard
Some kill dogs because:
1. Disobedience or frustration. The dogs don't listen to their masters when they tell them to do something.
2. Psychopathy/cruelty. The owners are psychopaths or abusers.
3. Dog fighting. Some don't kill them directly, but set them up to be killed in dog fights. Sometimes sore losers of dog fights kill their own dogs.
4. Mercy killing. Some kill dogs out of mercy, such as if they are very old, terminally ill, or in severe pain.
5. Self-Defense. Some kill dogs that are attacking them, their loved ones, or children. Some do so because the dog has end-stage rabies and is a public health risk.
How do you keep your puppy from chewing up lines and cords?
Most dogs hate the smell of WD-40. Spray some on the cords or anything else you don't want chewed up and they will stay away. It also works in the garden/flower bed, too.

Why does a dog roll over on its back?
A dog will roll over for several reasons. It is an extension of submission behavior. When canines show submission, they typically will roll onto their side or back and show their throat. rolling over is just a continuation of the movements of the behavior. People often train their dogs to roll over.
How many stores are out there?

Thanks.
How much does a dog trainer get paid in the army?
The same pay as any other soldier. It depends on your rank.
When should you stop holding your children's hands?
The answer is dependent on the 'why' of it all. That is, why are you holding hands? If it's for crossing the street, you can stop when your child is able to cross without getting distracted and knows the right way to cross, i.e. look both ways, wait for the light, etc... Usually, this happens between the ages of three and five.
If you and your child are holding hands because you love each other, I see no reason to stop at all! There may be times and places you or your child may not want to hold hands, and that's okay for either one of you to say.
I'm 13 and so i hav personally told my mom and dad to stop holding my hands when i was 9 and trust me, even before then, none of my freinds were holding their parents hands, they all stopped at 7 or 6 so trust me when i saw they really dont want to be seen holding hands with anyone but a boy or girl friend
How long does it take to litter train a bunny?
Like dogs rabbits learn at all different times. As a new born baby rabbit they are more likely to develop this skill at around 4-6 months (this is an average rabbit. They have to be shown where it is and how they use it.). If you are teaching an adult or old rabbit this skill they should get it more quickly- 4-5 months. A adult rabbit must be shown where it is and how to use it. If you have recently moved house and brought your rabbit to a new destination the skill should come at around 5-6 months. Be patient and keep calm, they will learn!
How do you get your dog to stop making meth?
Firstly, you need to remove him from the current pack he has been hanging with. They are obviously bad dogs. Get rid of any Bunsen burners and cold medicine you have around the house. You may consider fencing off your yard, and keep him on a leash when you go for walks. Spend some time with him, and make him realize there are much better things to be doing. Maybe you can get him interested in healthier things, like squeaky toys and peanut butter. Let him know that you love him, but if this continues, you have no choice but to send him away to strict training. Explain to him that following this path may eventually land him in the pound, and you may not be able to do anything to stop it. Try taking him on a visit to the pound. Seeing other dogs behind bars and forced to cohabitate with cats may wake him up a bit. No matter what, you have to be firm, consistent, and show tough love. Things will get better.
Do the regulations that apply to service animals also apply to young service dogs in training?
Do Service animals in Training have the same access rights as fully trained Service Dogs?
It depends on which state you are in. The Americans with Disabilities Act, defines Service Dog, and discusses what access rights a Service Dog has--but is silent about Service Dogs in Training. Therefore, you will have to find your State laws which would define Service Dogs.
It is often hard to find those laws--because Service Dogs/in Training are often referred to in a term other than Service Dog/in Training. Also, state law portals can change. One site which attempts to keep up-to-date on Service Dog laws is here:
http://www.psychdog.org/lifestyle_statelaws.html
I would suggest that you read the laws for yourself--to see what the state law really says. There are sites (and booklets), which purport to cover each states law--but sometimes, those sites and booklets, leave out important information which is stated in the law.
Also, know that a Service Dog is a Service Dog is a Service Dog--it does NOT matter what your disability is--according to the ADA--A Service Animal is any animal individually trained to do work OR perform tasks for a person with a disability... [emphasis mine--possibly paraphrased].

How do you you train a dog and cat to get along?
You can't really train them to get along, but to put them near enough to have a good look at each other but not "invade" each other personal space, usually around 2-3 feet or a meter if your Australian, is enough.
Another way is to spend equal time with them, as they can feel jealously just like us, also spend time together with them.
Just give them time, they'll come around.
Is it true that is hard to train a Winnie dog?
Yes, Weiner Dogs (Dachshunds) are active and stubborn and hard to train.
