Why is impedance matching used in electronics?

Impedance matching is used in electronics to get an electronic device with an input and output source to work. Impedance matching will give the electronic it's maximum transfer of voltage. An example of this are FM radio receivers.

Can the Sycologic M16 send Patch Changes to Multiple Keyboards I know it can send MSB LSB and PC numbers but can it send up to eight different changes for each device at one time?

Yes it can. Just make sure you save all of your data into presets to be later called up. It's really simple, just store the settings the way you want them, and via MIDI, it will allow you to recall it during a live performance.

What does on refrigerator High side 240 Low Side 110 mean?

A refrigerator is basically an air conditioning system. There is a high (discharge) and a low (vacuum) side to such systems. As it goes through the system, the refrigerant will change state (e.g., high pressure vapor to high pressure liquid, high pressure liquid to low pressure liquid, low pressure liquid to low pressure vapor, low pressure vapor back to high pressure vapor). This facilitates the absorption of heat from the refrigerator compartment and the exchange of that heat to the ambient air. What you're seeing there are the pressure readings (in psig) of the high pressure and low pressure sides of that system. Your refrigerator and an automotive AC system use different refrigerants, and thus have different system operating temperatures. While those numbers would be excessively high on an automotive system, I don't know if that's the case with a refrigerator. You'd need to inquire with a qualified service professional on the matter of what your refrigerator's operating pressures should be.

What is the oldest technique used in the electronic assembly process?

Components such as resistors, capacitors and integrated circuits are generally made by specialized contractors. Integrated circuits are generally made by the process of photolithography. Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are usually manufactured by specialized contractors.

The oldest technique was rouse humans to hand solder all components together.

If a receipt does not state an electronics device as nonrefundable does the store have to give a refund?

The answer to this depends on the state and the country. All have slightly different rules. However, most legal systems work on the basis that a sale is final. Once you have made a purchase, the seller is not obliged to accept the item back and make a refund. The fact that many retailers allow customers to return goods is for goodwill purposes and not because they are required to do so. There are certain cases where the retailer may be required to offer a refund but this will depend on where the sale has taken place. In the event that the product is faulty, there is often a right to obtain a refund. The specific requirements vary between states and between countries so no more detail can be offered in this answer. The best starting point is to consult your local consumer rights group or a search on the Internet for rights in your area.

What is the size of a modern transistor?

By the year 2015 transistors as small as 14 nanometers ('nm') were being manufactured for CPUs. 14 nanometers is much smaller than the average-sized virus. For example, the influenza-A virus is between 58 - 100 nm in size.

What is the difference between BCD and TTL communication?

TTL refers to Transistor Transistor Logic, an electronic component standard where a logical 0 is 0 volts and a logical 1 is 5 volts.

BCD refers to Binary Coded Decimal. This is an encoding scheme where each bit represents a value and after the value reaches 9 the count is reset and a carry bit is formed. Bit 0 is 0,1 Bit 1 is 0 and 2, bit 3 is 0 and 4, bit 4 is 0 and 8. As an example the decimal digit 7 is encoded as 1110 or 1+2+4.

What do you use in a vacuum to bend electronic beams?

Either an electrostatic field or a magnetic field.

Each type is used in cathode ray tubes: generally, electrostatic in oscilloscopes, magnetic in television and computer CRTs.

How do electronic prescriptions work?

The entire process has three stages.

  1. The prescriber logs into the e-prescribing system in the EMR and looks for the medication details of the patient. After scrutinizing all the pertinent details, the prescriber makes a prescription and sends it to the pharmacy that is linked to the server.
  2. Transaction HUB plays the role of an intermediary between the physician and the pharmacy. It notifies both the prescriber and the pharmacy that it has transferred the details of prescription to both the ends (.i.e pharmacy and physician).
  3. Once the pharmacy gets a confirmation from the transaction HUB, the pharmacy informs the practice that it has received the prescription. Eventually the pharmacy fills the prescription and hands over the medicine to the patient.

Can you repair an 18v dewalt battery charger?

dear sir, take the top of the charger inside you will see a 3 amp fuse this is soldered in

if this is blown , solder a new one on the side of the old one i hope this helps,

stefan,

Hi , i have just recently repaired my 18v charger, the fuse inside had blown so i removed it and replaced it with a new one , but did not solder it next to the other i re-soldered new hard wire to the fuse and carefully soldered back into place . I know by doing this i render all warranties that i had. The reason that mine blew in the first place was i had been rubbing a copper pipe with wire wool and bits were going everywhere, and got into the charger, when i tipped the charged onto its side i went bang.( Wire wool must have got inside)

The charger is not impervious to dust and bits of wire wool so keep your charger in a clean environment away from where you are working.

Anyway my charger is OK now.

Please note that i have been electrically trained and i knew what i was doing .I do not condone anyone to make such repairs themselves unless they are competent in their abilities to repair such items.
