Can reverse osmosis water be used in batteries?
In a pinch, you can use tap water in a lead-acid battery. Since the minerals dissolved in the water will eventually poison the battery it isn't advisable to make a habit of it. If your reverse osmosis device removes most of the minerals you can probably substitute it for distilled water but you should confirm the quality of the water it produces before making a habit of it.
A quick method to check the quality would be to check the water's conductivity. Using an Ohm meter, compare its conductivity to that of distilled water at the same temperature. If the measurements are close then have at it.

It depends on the number representation you use and how much resolution you need. If you use a floating point representation, the stored number can be extremely large but have poor resolution.
If you need to have a resolution of one count and include a zero, then the largest is 2^20 - 1
What are the non-electronic media resources in teaching?
non electronic media are those thing where electricity can not use.
there is probably a blown diode in the rotor windings. unsolder the diode make sure to remember the direction it was fitted it is fitted with a capacitor in parralel with it remove both diodes check them with a diode test on a multi meter and repalce the blown one.if you refit the doide the wrong way then it wont work and you would have to remove it and re fit it again.
Does anyone knows the value of the diode or part number?
answer; no but if you live in Ireland or the UK go to a maplin electronics shop they sell assorted bags of diodes for a couple of quid just use a similar sized one or bigger. smaller ones are likely to burn out.if its stronger it wont effect it.you can also order these online on the maplin website

Who is a person who studies technology?
That's a highly debatable question but on a large scale i would say an IBM supercomputer. On a smaller scale, Apple computers are very fast. Internet speeds however varies everywhere,
----
A person who studies technology is a technician
+++
But... what is "technology"? The word was invented long before people started using it as lazy slang for computers etc., in fact before there were computers to call "technology". Whatever its origin it's a become a very lazy word with no real meaning, and often a euphemism for engineering by those who despise engineering but are glad to use its benefits.
"Technician" is equally woolly but is normally applied to those who make, maintain or operate technical equipment at a higher skill level than simple assembly-line work. So for example you could call a telephone-exchange maintainer, or diesel-engine repairer, or IT-system installer, or an all-round fitter and machinist, a "technician".
A technician does not study "technology" beyond learning what is necessary for his or her work, but the "ology" suggests "technology" is itself a study - that of Science and its practical application, i.e., Engineering. Be it computers, cars or bridges.

Can you boil a pint of water on a 60watts peltier unit?
With enough insulation you can in theory boil any amount of water with any amount of energy, given enough time.
The key is to supply more energy to the water than it looses.
It takes 2260 joules to boil 1 cc of water, joules can be described at watt-seconds.
One pint of water is approximately 473 cc, so that will requite 1,068,980 Joules to boil.
Given perfect insulation; it would take 17816 seconds / 297 minutes / 5 hours to boil the water with a 60 watt heating element.
Assuming that you do not use perfect insulation and given the fact that a peltier element won't give out all 60 watts on the one side, i'd have to say;
No you can't boil a pint of water on a 60 watt peltier unit.
What are the benefits of using an electronic calendar?
· Lightweight, small, and portable
· Holds thousands of contact names and numbers
· Has a search capability to find to-dos and contact names
· You don't have to re-write to-do lists when you don't complete items; they roll forward automatically
· Integrates with Outlook and popular contact management databases
· If wireless, can access email
Disadvantages of using an electronic calendar
· No month-at-a-glance view. You must click on individual days on a monthly calendar to see appointments for that day.
· Note taking is slow and time-consuming with cryptic shorthand, or you must carry a separate keyboard.
· Double entry. Requires the use of a pad of paper to take notes, which must be typed into computer a second time back at home.
· Expensive machine.

What Methods are used for electronic communication channels?
Fax - Fax uses the public telephone system as a way of delivering paper documents from one place to another, for situations where a hard copy isn't essential. This can be used for business to business communication.
Email - E-mail has become the primary means for delivering short text messages within organisations that are networked. E-mail between organisations is has become more common and this method is increasingly take the place of fax, particularly as whole documents can be sent as e-mail attachments. E-mail provides many cost advantages when compared with the use of paper or the telephone. This can be used for staff to staff, staff to customer and customer to staff communication.
Telephone/ Mobiles - Phones are universal and, with the advent of voice mail and mobile phones, it is now possible to reach people practically anytime, anywhere. This can be used for staff to staff communication.
Video Conferencing - Video conferencing uses phone lines to transmit video as well as sound, between two or more groups. Because cameras, microphones, audio playback and special software are required, video conferencing is used only infrequently and on specially-provided workstations. However, as networks become more powerful and the machinery becomes less expensive, it is possible that this will eventually be available to everyone. This can be used for staff to staff communication.
Intranet - An intranet uses the same technology as the Internet, but operates within the confines of a single organisation. Normally an intranet is used to deliver text and images. Information is much less expensive to distribute and maintain with an intranet than with paper copies. This can be used for staff to staff communication.
