Assuming you're asking about a puppy's ears, there are different ways of getting its ears to stand up and you should ask your breeder or veterinarian to show you the techniques.
Done incorrectly, you can permanently damage the puppy's ears.
"Suggest" is a regular verb; therefore, its past participle is "suggested".
You can make compound words from each of those by adding the word down:
A "bulldogged determination" refers to one who is adamant about something; it has to deal with the tenacious, often stubborn, dog breed known as the bulldog. There is also a book by this title, written by Rick Gettle.
NO! I have one and it would never kill one of its puppies! it is very protective of one it considers in its closest circle (OWNERS, AND ESPECIALLY PUPPIES).
i dont think there is any difference because i think they are the same dog but it has two names hope this helps
strictly speaking no dog has the ability to lock its jaw.some breeds such as staffies and bull terriers have a very strong bite that could appear locked and /or a lasting bite could cause a build up of lactic acid in the jaw muscles which can develope into cramp and thus seem locked
the akc has classified the breed as an American staffordshire terrier while the ukc has classified the breed as an American pit bull terrier so yes, they are both the same dog but American Staffordshire Terriers have been selectively bred for the last 65 years or so to posess certain physical characteristics. The Pitbull was bred for performance rather than looks so there are a wide variety of body types and temperments.
If you get them as a puppy and SOCIALIZE them with cats, dogs, babies, etc, then they should be friendly for the rest of their adult lives (especially if you keep up the socialization process).
However, the male SBT's could be dog aggressive if they are not neutered or not socialized. You could try to train them to become socialized, but it's more difficult if they weren't socialized as a young puppy (but not impossible).
I have a female SBT who did not like cats because I made the mistake of socializing her with everyone (dogs, babies, adult humans), but not cats. I wanted to get a cat when she was two years old so I had to get a KITTEN because the male kitten did not pose any threat, she eventually accepted it (with a lot of enforcement by myself chastising her when she showed aggression towards the eight week old kitten). I don't think it would be possible to introduce an adult cat to an adult SBT if the SBT doesn't like cats ---- you have to start out with a kitten and be FIRM if the SBT shows any aggression.
With any dog breed, it's easier for a female dog to accept a male dog and vice versa. In other words, if you already have a dog, then if you want to get a second dog, get the OPPOSITE GENDER.
Terriers are similar by their function as vermin hunters. They might pull pests from their dens. Due to their independent use, many are independent and tenacious or hyper. Some are also bull-and-terrier dogs used for bull baiting and pit fighting. They tend to be tough, but biddable.
if you want a back yard breeders dog about $800. But if you are a real lover of the bull terrier you will do what i did and found a real breeder from the Bull Terrier Club of America (BTCA) and it will run you about $1800 to $3000. For me it was money well spent!
Bull Terriers were first used for dog fighting and bull baiting, and today their main function is companionship.
very very very gently use a damp cotton pad -cotton PAD, not bud- and just wipe
