Why do some people think that we shouldn't use pig's hearts for human heart transplants?
Pig hearts are not used routinely for human heart transplants - xenotransplantation just does not work for long term use. People just seem to assume that animal to human transplantation is far more common than in reality - it is incredibly rare. Very occasionally it may be used to bridge a gap until a suitable human organ becomes available, but it is not a long term solution. Animal organs do not maintain function in a human body.
Please see related link for more info.
Porcine and bovine heart valves can be used for heart valve replacement operations in humans, but this is very different to having an organ donated from an animal.

How do you prevent Dr Doright has fulfilled his ethical duty by reporting the illegal procedures?
Several of the basic rules of ethics within healthcare is not only making the saving of life's and the promotion of health as a first priority, but to refrain from immoral and illegal practices, and report illegal actions of others to the proper authority. It is the staff's responsibility to maintain a competent level of skill consistent with their occupations. The incidence within the scenario was bought to Dr. Do Right's attention and he performed his ethical duties by initiating an investigation. Even though Dr Do Right reported the incidents to the Regional Director Compliance Manager and Executive Committee in January 2009, two years later there were no results from that investigation and patients were still passing away (Halbert & Ingulli, 2012).
Dr. Do Right's ethical duties were not fulfilled, due the fact that he was passive aggressive for two years while still noticing patients were dying. It was his ethical duty to follow up on the investigation on a regular base, initiate an even more aggressive plan of action, and if necessary, involved a third party entity. Dr. Do Right should have made sure all proper procedures were enforced when it came down to the internal investigations, documentation, employees reporting ethical violations, and the clarifying of every employee's role and responsibility within the hospital (Halbert & Ingulli, 2012).

A sin is a transgression of theological principles. Each individual religion has its own definitions of sins. What is sinful varies from religion to religion and depends on what the individuals theological beliefs are.
Both honor and virtue are conceived in a wide variety of ways by different schools of thought, but in general most people would agree that it is honorable to be virtuous, and it is virtuous to be honorable, so they do seem to be connected.
How are ethical decisions reasoned out?
There are many different situations which require ethical decisions. Sometimes the decision is extremely obvious, and in some cases it is extremely complex. You have to consider all the consequences of a decision, both good and bad, if you wish to assess the ethics of the decision.
When it comes to development it comes in physical and emotional ways. Our bodies change and emotionally we change and grow. In fact, I believe we emotionally grow all the time. This is done by going through different experiences in life. It is important to change for the postive.

Should morality be considered a sufficient basis for defining particular conduct as criminal?
In a court of law, morality does not overtly come into play. However, since most everyone HAS been raised with some type of moral code imbued in them, it invariably probably subconsciously enters into the deliberations made by the jury.
Further: Consider for instance: The case of Roe v. Wade (Reproductive Rights).
The morals of many people are offended by the right, under law, of a woman to make her own reprooductive decisions.
Yet, other perople's morals are equally offended by the thought of government legislating into law, a statute law that controls or restricts a woman's right to choose this procedure.
Conundrum!! WHO'S moral "rights" are superior under law?
Should the law be applied equally in all circumstances regardless of social consequences?
Of course. One of the hallmarks of a civilized society is that the law is applied equally without any discrimination or special treatment. Everyone must be treated equally regardless of sex, race, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, status, or any other characteristic. The application of law must be without bias or privilege.
Extenuating or mitigating circumstances can be brought to the attention of the jury at trial.
