Where is the ventilation air inlet filter located on a 2006 Ford Focus?

On some of these SUVs it is behind the glove box.

But it`s not a SUV

In a Focus 2006, AND in the fiesta/fusion from 2002 AND the C-Max, Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy, the ventilation air filter is mounted next to the trottle pedal. All you need to do is to remove the trottle pedal (just 3 bolts). Right next to the pedal there`s the filter cover. It`s secured with three to four Torq screws (depending which model), size 20 (just a small one). Remove the screws and the cover and here`s your ventilation air filter

How do you remove a jammed CD from car radio in a ford focus?

I removed 2 cds from my 2005. Remove the cover that surrounds the radio. The lighter and htr./ac. will come with it. Just be carefull and use a small screwdriver around the edges to remove it. Romove the 4 bolts that hold radio in place. There are 4 torqs screws that hold the faceplate in place. When that came off mine the 2 cds were sitting in a cavity on top of CD player they should fall out.

Why won't your Focus go into gear?

Low on fluid, linkage problems, drive train problems, transmission problem. Something else had to have been going on prior to this. A car just doesnt suddenly stop going into gear. Did you hear any grinding noises, do you check your fluids, did you hear any odd noises. Best bet is to get it to a shop, either by tow or go and have them look at it.

Why does nothing happen when you step on the gas?

You really need to give us a little more information. I'm presuming that the car starts OK, right? When you press on the accelerator, with the car in neutral or park, does the engine rev up? Is your transmission auto or manual? If the engine revs up, does the car not move when you put it in gear and/or let the clutch out? Inquiring minds want to know! FriPilot

Does anybody know how to remove 6 CD player on ford focus 2002 what do you need to have to do that?

ZX3 6cd changer removalIf you're cds are stuck inside, chances are that one of the inner CD trays has broken. Walmart sells the tool for bout $3 to pull the unit out of the dash. There are two holes bout 2" apart on either side of the radio; slide the tools in and spread them outward. The unit should start to slide out as you spread and gently pull. It doesn't take a lot of force. I kept taking stuff apart on the CD unit until I could see the cds; then it was a matter of obsessive frustration and sliding the cds around until they were free of the trays and much shaking (and swearing) until the cds fell out. Crutchfield had a good deal on a single player (mp3s to make up for the loss of 6 cds) that came with everything (harnesses, kit, instructions) at a price that was better than Best Buy, etc.

2001 Ford Focus engine cuts out and stalls when driving up hill?

I've had the same problem. mine was fixed with a couple different steps. 1. Take to ford dealership have them change out fuel pump for free under recall. 2. change the fuel filter myself. 3. change out PCV hose and PCV valve. 4. clean throttle body. 5. use electronic cleaner to clean out MAF sensor. 6. change air filter. This made a huge difference in my car and hopefully helps you

How do I bleed brake fluid in a Ford Focus?

You will need a helper. Start at the Right Rear wheel and have the helper push down on the brake pedal and hold pressure then you will turn the bleed screw on the caliber counterclockwise. Once the brake pedal goes to the floor tighten the bleeder valve and then tell the helper to release the brake pedal. Keep repeating this until you see no more air bubble escaping from the caliber. Repeat these steps at the LR, the RF, and end up at the LF caliber. Make sure the helper keeps the master cylinder full at all times.
