are you thinking about the dimmer switch or the actual illumination light? on the left side of the steering wheel you will find the dimmer switch, and the dash becomes illuminated from the first click of your headlight switch.

it is on the vehicles intake box you will need to go to a parts store to buy a ford tamper proof hex set to remove it make sure when you are replacing it that you replace the rubber o-ring that's around the inside of the sensor unless you have a v-6 model then it is part of the intake box and all you need is a screwdriver to releave the rubber hoses attached to it

MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor, TPS(Throttle position sensor) sensor, IAF(Intake air flow) sensor, EGR, leaking, loose or missing vacum hoses...

The firing order for the 2.5l is 1-2-3-4-5-6. The cylinders are staggered, # 1 is the first on the passenger side, #2 is the first on the drivers side and so on.

Depends on if the engine was running at the time. If the engine was running and ingested a lot of water, it would lead to fractured pistons and broken rods. Water, like most liquids, is not compressible, so as the piston moved up to compress the volume that is supposed to be gas and air, it would run into a brick wall. Something is going to break.

If the engine was not running and water seeped in, it might cause some rust in the cylinder if it wasn't gotten out fairly soon. Do not try turning the engine over, as some of the pistons will be in compression stage at any given time. See above.

If you're talking about a coolant leak, you'll see white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe as it burns off.

High-performance engines sometimes actually inject small amounts of water into the cylinders since it will flash off as steam, carrying away some of the heat and giving a boost to the power stroke. Water expands something like 1500 times in volume when changed to steam.

In the fuel tank. Look under pad in luggage/hatch back area. Almost in center. Make sure you disconnect ground and hot to battery, and make very sure you stay grounded to the frame or body while doing this, one spark and see u later.

Timing marks? There is a timing mark on the main crankshaft pulley as well as marks on the timing belt cover to line it up with. There is also marks on the cam gear, with the #1 and that arrow being most important, as well as an arrow or other mark on the cylinder head to line it up with. All of these need to line up in order for the timing to be correct. Then the distributor can be moved left or right to fine tune the timing to spec.. -Shaun

DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. Remove the factory air intake if still equipped, otherwise remove your cold air intake and the starter is right there. Remove wires going to starter and take the bolts out that connect the starter to the motor. Bolt in new starter and hook wires up just as they were hooked up to the old starter. Put air box back on and re-connect negative cable. Start and enjoy.

Sometimes wear on the key and/or ignition barrel can cause this. sometimes the steering lock is under load , and jostleing the wheel while turning the key can help.Try a little squirt of WD40 down the key hole.

305 is the same distributor as a 350 will even fit some big block chevy's.

open up the hood and there will be a black box the says fuse box open it and there will be a fuse for you head light to come up and down replace it its prolly blown same thing happened to my dads 95 ford probe

check the water pump it has a safety mechanism that lets you know that it is going bad it will leak from a little hole under the pulley you probably need to replace the water pump that's all

it could also be that your coolant overflow tank is cracked. that happens a lot on these cars cuz the crappy plastic its made out of. mine is cracked. right at the bottom. just be sure to check your coolant level regularly.
