The plugs and coil packs are located on top of the engine. If you look at the fuel rails ( they are silver in color ) which will be on both sides of the throttle body the small coil packs are located under them. Use caution when R&R the plugs and packs not to break the clips holding them and damage the fuel rails.

The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.

Just to the left of the steering column towards the bottom of the dash. It is not under the dash, there is a plastic cover that is part of the dash.

The height of the 2005 Ford F-150 is 6 ft. 1.5 in. (73.5 in.).

to remove carrier bearing, u will need to removbe the drive shaft from the vehicle

the carrier bearing is bolted to chassis with 2 bolts . these will need to be removed and the carrier and bearing will come out with the drive shaft

one drive shaft is out you can then knock old bearing and carrier off of shaft with a hammer. the old carrier is no good so doesnt matter if you trash it

once you get old one off, carefully known new one onto shaft until seated,being careful to note which is front of carrier bearing

you can then reinstall cariier bearing and drive shaft to truck. NOTE: now is a good time to check and replace if needed the U-Joints on the drive shaft

the emergency brake is drum brake inside the hub of the disk brake. to adjust them is the same as adjusting any other drum brake get underneath the car and you will find a asmall rubber cover on the back of the drum.remove that and you can insert small screwdriver or adjusting tool to adjust your brakes

The Heater Core will be located behind the dash. Hope that Helps.

Near the headlights assembly on the passenger side of car. Remove battery to get to it. Mounted to fender.

At the bottom of the arm, where it is attached to the actuator shaft, is a small, snapon cover. Remove the cover with a small, flat head screwdriver or similar. You will then see the nut that holds the arm in place. Remove the nut with a 15 mm wrench or adjustable wrench. Move the wiper blade all the way up away from the windshield. You can now remove the arm assembly. You may need to lightly pry underneath the arm at the shaft to remove it.

A 1997 Ford Explorer has : In the power distribution box, in the engine compartment, in location # 9 , a 50 amp maxi-fuse for the blower motor ( THE PD BOX IS LIVE - DISCONNECT YOUR NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE ) and In the fuse panel, on the driver's end of the dash, visible with driver's door open : a fuse in location # 31 for the rear blower and also ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If it has the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) in location # 6 - a 7.5 amp fuse for the EATC in location # 9 - a 10 amp fuse for the EATC in location # 10 - a 7.5 amp fuse for the EATC

well the best would be 4wd but if you have a 2wd then a FWD would be the best

If you have a carburetor, there is a crew on the driver side behind the throttle cable it usually has a spring on it if you turn it to the right it idles up left it idles down If its a fuel injected motor idle is handled by the computer. There usually is a "base idle speed" around 800-1000 RPM. This normally doesn't need to be adjusted.

Have a look for carbon build up on the butterfly as well, this will influence idle too.

diesel dripping under a 7.3 powerstroke is usually caused by a small filter being clogged on the back side of the fuel filter housing is a small plastic part that will leak i cannot tell you what this part is called ,but this part can be replaced for about 60 bucks and with the use of some small alen keys,and a lot of patience insideis a tiny filter that that clogs up and causes fuel to leak the longer this is left in thei condition, the more fuel will eventually leak out you should also check to make sure fuel is not leaking from the "O" rings where fuel lines are attached at rear of heads these really are a pain to change out and a a specila o ring from ford only

The carbureted 300Cu in Ford 6 cylinder engine was 114 horsepower (give/take a bit from year to year). The fuel injected version that came along later was 150HP. Before you think "that's all???", keep in mind that horsepower is a mathematical equation. A low-revving, high torque engine like the 300 Cu In Ford truck engine will seem very low in power "in paper" due to the math involved.
