If your loved one is applying for Medicaid and can't have more than the required $1500 in one account then it would be best to sign it over with the understanding that once the funeral expenses are paid the remainder of the money should be written in checks to the children.

Before you sign over the policy make sure that you have carefully checked out the funeral and teh service they are offering.

It probably means that they wanted to wear something that looks nice in order to honor the deceased and their family, and that was their choice. The old rules are changing. Look to people's hearts, not to what they wear. It gives better results.

I'm not too sure what you are trying to get at with this question but if you are talking about the body of the dead Brother or Sister then that would be a no because he/she would be sealed inside the coffin, any viewing of the person would have to take place at the undertakers before the Memorial service took place.
