i came across the answer for this problem, unfortunetly, by trying to remove my Delco radio from my own '95 Geo Metro LSi hatchback (another problem...ugh); the fuse type is correct, the little brown plastic covered one that's 70A located in the fuse box 2nd awat from the battery, but i haven't been able to find one that will fit properly like the factory fuse did. i haven't tried going to the Chevorlet dealership yet in my search, so you may have luck there in finding a replacement (i hope i will!)

Which fuse is for the tail lights in a 1993 Geo Metro?
First you need to locate the fuse box. Many are under the dash near or to the left of the steering wheel. Some are under the hood in the engine compartment. The fuse box cover will often show the size (AMPS) of fuse in each slot as well as what it operates. If you have further questions about the fuses, check the owners manual which should define it in more detail.
How much can you get if you scrap your Geo Metro?
the weight of the vehicle times the amount of scrap metal per 100 lbs
Lack of power can be caused by many problems. If the motor is revving up but it won't shift, it may be the transmission. If it won't rev, it may be the convertor. It may also be a plugged fuel filter, air filter, bad plugs or wires or even a bad injector. Check the filters and maybe a tune up before going further. Also check all the fuses.
On almost all Geos its one of 2 reasons. #1 the aluminum block cracked and the car now overheats and cannot be driven very far #2 the u joints and rocker panels on Geos become very rusty over time and eventually rust through and fall out, making the geo un-driveable. My old Geos engine block gave out.

When do you change the timing belt on a 2000 Chevy Metro LSi with 6500 miles?
The recommended service is to inspect it at 60,000 miles, replace it at 100,000 miles. Considering that you drive very little, I would recommend you just replace it at 60,000 miles. The belt will be very old at that time and age is a factor. Disregard this if you mis-spoke on the mileage and meant 65,000 miles, which I suspect is the case. In that case use the recommended service interval.

Will a 1992 geo metro 1.0 fit into a 1994 geo metro 1.0?
Yes it will. from 1989 - 1995 all geo metros (as well as Suzuki Swift) had the same engines. As long as they both have the same type of transmission and the same size (1.0) it will fit. Hope this helps.
Where is the crank sensor on a 1993 Chevrolet Geo Metro?
on your oil pan, close to the crankshaft pully. mine had one bolt (1996) Dont worry, no oil will come out. These ussually get dirty and not work well. I would suggest removing and cleaning up and make sure the magnet is clean, and reinstall before buying a new one.
