According to the United States Holocaust Museum, Jehovah's Witnesses were targeted for persecution because of their religious convictions. They refused to swear loyalty to the Nazi regime or perform the Heil Hitler salute, and refused to serve in the military.
Jehovah's Witnesses could escape their persecution by changing their stand and going along with the regime.

Weapons used by the axis powers during World War 2?
There is not an exact answer to that question, as it is a debated topic. In my opinion, carriers proved to be decisive as they allowed one to transfer air support to places that were out of reach to planes being launched from land. However, the Nazis developed some pretty crazy things, some of which (namely the V2 missile and the ME 262 jet fighter) were not decisive as they came to late in the war to make much of a difference, but were quantum leaps in warfare and have been decisive to later wars.
Totalitarian rulers were able to acquire power during the 1930s?
Dictators were able to rise to power easily during the 1930s because of the recent World War and a world-wide depression. Many people were seeking economic stability, a surplus of food, a strong leader to help them, and some national pride. This is just what dictators like Hitler, Stalin, and Tojo offered.

Why is hitler known today for killing so many jews?
Because he was an evil man who wanted to wipe Jews off the surface of the Earth. He was a German man, and Germans are the ones who started both World Wars, in effort to conquer the world. Jews are known to survive the impossible and hurtful, with the help of our one and only G-d. We give Him all our thanks.
I completely agree with the answers above, but, to be honest, there was more than just one reason why he did what he did! One reason was that Hitler's mother had breast cancer and a Jewish doctor or nurse was taking care of her, but she ended up dieing anyways, so he blamed all Jews and decided to end the Jewish population. I wish I remembered the other reason I was taught a few weeks ago because you'd have more information.
What happened when the Nazis invaded czechoslovikia?
When the Nazis invaded the Checks, the league of nations stepped in and said like, "Hey Hitler, we can't just let you go and invade countries, we don't want another WW here!" and Hitler said "Just give me Czechoslovikia and I'll be happy." so, considering the fact that Czechoslovikia is a tiny country with no chances of ever defeating Germany, they handed it over not wanting to start another world war. Of course, Hitler was a dictator never satisfied with what he had and kept concoring until WW2 came about.
Cold war policies during the late 40's and 50's?
Well during the late '40s and '50s there were the increased tensions with the Soviet Union over what would happen to Germany and how it would be split. The Soviet Union wanted a lot because Stalin was a paranoid, mean guy who never really trusted anybody and resented the other allies from stalling their attacks in the West. So the U.S. did what they could to stop the Soviets. When Berlin was surrounded by the Soviets, we started the Berlin airlift and hindered any attempt by the Russians. During the '50s we began a policy of containment which stated that the U.S. would help any country being threatened by communist aggressors. This got us in a little trouble in Korea and Vietnam. There was also mccarthyism happinging at home. sen. Joe McCarthy stated that there were communists in the goverment(OH NO!) so there began a time where people were put on trial and even executed, as in the Rosenburgs. American policy of containment was developed by George Kennan. It was meant to keep Soviet expansion in check in Eastern Europe, but not intended for use in Asia (Korea and Vietnam). Despite this, Americans were involved in both Korea and Vietnam. The Truman Doctrine arose from the ideas of contaiment. The Truman Doctrine was created to aid Greece and Turkey to prevent their fall to communism. The United States experienced the Red Scare, in which McCarthy-ism and "witch hunts" sought to purge the US government of all communists. Containment of communism. At this point the belief was that communism was an international movement that had to be stopped immediately wherever it started: like a cancer. This was accomplished not just militarily but also economically through the Marshall Plan for Western Europe (which was extended to the Soviets and Eastern Europe, but they turned it down obviously) and the rebuilding of Japan as a democractic power in the Far East. There was also a much greater impetus from the US to found and take active part in the United Nations.
Whats the most powerful gun the the world?
That depends. Rifle, shotgun, pistol, cannon, pellet gun, or airsoft? The 16" guns on a battleship can fire a one ton shell about 26 miles, but they are not "on the market". For rifles, the .50 BMG is close to the upper limit. Shotguns- the 10 g 3.5" magnum, and handgun is a tossup- .500 S&W being in the upper ranks, although there are many handguns in rifle calibers (even one in .600 Nitro Express, and one in .50 BMG)
For rifles, it's probablly the Russian PTRS anti-tank rifle. The 14.5 x 114mm cartridge fires a 65.5 gram bullet at 3200 feet per second- far more energcy than the .50 Barrett, or elephant guns such as the .600 Nitro Express or .460 Weatherby magnum.

What did the SS have to do with the Holocaust?

No. They outlived their usefulness after the Nazi Party collapsed. Roughly 1 million were produced and operated by the Nazis during the Second World War, however.
I apologize. Upon doing some more research, I found that the MP 40 was, in fact used after the Second World War. Amazingly, it was used by various European armies (notably the Austrians and the Norwegians) right up until the 1970's and 80's!
Is the m60 Patton tank still in use?
Wikipedia and civilian firms call it that, but there never was such a tank. The US Army's official name for this tank is the M60 Combat Tank, it was the US Army's first semi-official MBT (Main Battle Tank) and was fielded in 1960 (hence the nomenclature). The US Army WANTED to name the M60 the MBT officially, but the paper-work was already processed, and it was more important to get the machine fielded than delaying that process by "fighting over names" so the army just left things as they were...a Combat Tank.
The LAST PATTON tank was the 90mm Gun M48 Patton tank.
Third world countries may be using the M60 tank today. And that's counting countries in Southwest Asia. Most civilized nations (nations than can build their own tanks) are all using the generic M1 Abrams "looking tanks" (design); meaning ceramics and kevlar, etc. instead of traditional cast steel.
What was the idea behind the Aryan Race?

Why was Hitler evil towards Jews?
Adolf Hitler felt that he should have a perfect world where everyone believed the same things and everyone looked the same.
He like people with blonde hair, blue eyes. but he didn't like people with brown eyes and brown or black hair. That was strange because he had black hair, brown eyes.
(P.S. has anyone noticed that there are too many colours for hair and eyes that start with "B"?)
