It is unknown when people began believing in ghosts. However, recorded history which goes back thousands of years makes references to demons, ghosts and phantoms throughout. So it is likely that man has believed in various forms of supernatural beings from time immemorial.

Actually, you know if you have a sixth sense when you feel as if something is there, but you can't see anything. And usually something happens in that place where you felt like something was there, like a haunting.like if you see a dark shadowy figure really fast, and you feel the vibe from it and you get a little cold you kow you have a sixth sense.

There are hundreds of fantasy creatures out there. Most of them you can't become, however, some like werewolves and vampire you can. The simplest one is a spirit (I seriously don't advice doing this) all you do is die and you become one.

her mom finds her but tries to kill her but she killes her mom. then her ending comes and there is this big hullutination and like she s going to get killed then she kills her self but her dad is imaging it and then a second later he wakes up and is in a mental hospital. i dont know but its really confusing.

"....(Director William) Malone's vision of the house was based upon an episode of "Tales from the Crypt" shot in an English psychiatric hospital. "We shot it in a former mental institution that was now being rented out as a film location," recalled Malone. "Before we could begin shooting the film we had to exorcise the location. That event instantly sparked my imagination: make the house a former mental institution turned into someone's home." Rather than stick with the traditional Victorian-style haunted house associated with most horror films, production designer David Klassen created a house that looked as if it came straight out of the 1930s. Klassen designed the house in the monolithic style of Albert Speer, the infamous architect of the Third Reich. "It was very exciting to design a psychiatric institute for the criminally insane in this very looming, large and clean style," says Klassen. "It really draws the audience into the setting." "David did an amazing job of recreating the house; once you were inside the sets, you felt like you were in the actual home," says Malone. "It really had a creepy feeling." In addition to the design of the house, sound and visual effects play an integral part in the storytelling. Malone turned to the renowned visual-effects team of Bob and Dennis Skotak. The Academy Award-winning Skotaks, who have worked on such contemporary classics as "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and "Titanic," were very excited about the opportunity to work on a horror film. Says Bob Skotak, "Bill Malone's an old friend. I ran into him at a Halloween party last year and he told me he was going to do this movie. I thought it over for a few days and realized that I had never really done visual effects on a flat-out horror picture before and I wanted to give it a whirl. My brother and I and our digital artist, Helena Packer, discovered that this movie let us try things we'd never done before. It was a lot of fun." The exterior of the house was created out a combination of matte painting and miniatures. "The only part of the house that was physically real was the entrance," explains Bob Skotak. "For that, we used the entrance to the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles."

Well there are no exact answers, the child or children could have saw i figment of there imagination, or maybe a person or thing looked more paculiar then others. Paranormal investigations have been held for notices and activity of ghosts and other phenominoms. If child/children keeps on noticing figures that our black that can be a sign of someone or like i said something trying to communicate by being present around the child. If child starts to act strange or more aggressive and violent then usual, you should see a therapist so things dont get too cared away and having to end up killing thereselves or family. Ghosts can be persuading and maybe you have never had this happened to you, but ghost have a better advantage reaching into childrens thoughts then they do with adults, keep that in mind the next time your child confronts you about noises or figure going on around the childs presence.
