Absolutely. They love raw oats that have been steel cut. They also will eat cooked oatmeal as long as you are careful to make sure that there are no additives. It is also not recommended to serve them food cooked in teflon or cast iron but there is still some debate as to whether or not that is actually harmful.

Are season are millet's grown in?

I think you mean mullet. You can grow a mullet by going to a barber or beautician and telling them to cut your hair to where you may grow a mullet. or you can just shave the front and sides of your hair and let the back grow out. You might want to look at some pictures of mullets first to see exactly how you should cut your hair.Just go on www.Google.com click on images then click search to get some various mullet pictures. If you like a certain style mullet you could also print the picture out and take it to the hairdresser so they may have a visual aid to go by. Have someone help you do it if you don't know much about computers...and another thing...mullets aren't exactly what you'd call in style, but hey it's your hair so... whatever.

Actually, considering the user asked this question in the gardening section, they most likely want to know how to grow the grain millet. This is something I want to learn to do as well. I just wanted to add that this question has nothing to do with hair styles... -Danyel

Im in the process of growing some millet for my cockatiel at the moment, all you need to do is buy a box of millet from a supermarket and sprinkle a few of the seeds on a dish and fill it with about 10ml of water and they float, and within a week youll see white roots, once you have 4mm roots its time to pour them onto some compost in a small plastic flowerpot. this can all be done in your windowsill in a bedroom or sunny window (indoors)

im at the potted stage and i now have about 3-5 green shoots out of about 30 seeds. don't worry if you have to many just destroy/cut them up with scissors and use it as compost!! once they get a bit too big id suggest you plant them in an outside plastic tub and put it in a very sunny spot and water as necessary. i will update this thread with my outcome asap but it seems easy to grow. also wild birds may not eat your seed since it isn't their natural food so don't worry too much, but if they do then you will have to put the millet in some form of greenhouse/tier greenhouse!

Is corn in amstel light beer?

There is not normally corn in beer. But it can be used to brew beer, it does have the sugar content and some cultures have drinks made from fermented corn. Most moonshine starts off as corn mash. But most people don't like the flavor.

Beer is typically made of barley, though wheat and barley are common and many American brewers add rice to their lager. While many don't notice, I taste the rice in most beers that contain it.

Is popped corn a whole grain?

All popcorn is whole grain. If the grains (kernels, really) of popcorn were not left intact, the popcorn wouldn't be able to 'pop'. The '100% whole grain!' labels that have begun to appear on microwave popcorn are nothing more than a marketing scam. 'Whole grain' popcorn is no different from any other popcorn. It isn't better for your health; it's just from a company that has smart people working in the marketing department. To answer the question, then, a label indicating a 'whole grain' popcorn product does not tell you whether or not the popcorn is organic. Look for a specific certification on the packaging if you wish to purchase organic popcorn.

Quinoa cooks very similarly to rice, meaning that you use 2 parts water to every 1 part quinoa/rice. Just remember to rinse the quinoa before cooking. Then boil the water and cook the quinoa for about 10 minutes or so. And since quinoa is loaded with protein, fiber, and iron, it's as healthy as it is easy to make.
