What Drawing Tablet should I use for my art work?
You can use either SEJAT S1211 or SEJAT C058 for photoshop, both of them are easy to use, upon your need, S1211 has larger screen and C058 has smaller screen.
These tablets have a ton of features without being overwhelming. While the pen definitely takes some getting used to, this really brings a whole new level of perfection to digital art. Great interface, easy controls, minimal set-up, instant installation. While I know there are more advanced ones out there, this one isn't glitchy and is a joy to use as is. It's also very sturdy, which is a definite bonus for anything you own when you have nieces and nephews that don't always answer to the word 'no'. You won't find a better deal out there-- believe me I've looked. I couldn't have asked for a better deal.

What does the C represent in CMYK?
The K in CMYK can can stand for either blacK or Key colour.
The "K" in CMYK stands for key since in four-color printing cyan, magenta, and yellow printing plates are carefully keyed or aligned with the key of the black.
Suggesting that the "K" in CMYK comes from the last letter in "black" and was chosen because B already means is incorrect.

What is the difference between Pantone and CMYK?
First of all, Pantone is the brand name of an organization that released an international color standard. You are probably referring to the difference between spot colors and CMYK since most artists are referring to spot colors when referencing Pantone.
PANTONE
A Pantone Spot Color is a pre-mixed ink color that adheres strictly to the international standard for that color. Ink manufacturers cater these inks to exact specs and send them to printing companies on-demand. The press operators can then drop the custom ink into the press and out comes the color.
CMYK
The most common form of printing uses 4 ink colors arranged in an intricate pattern of dots to generate colorful images. If you open up your inkjet printer you should be able to see those same colors on your ink cartridges. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black; otherwise referred to as CMYK. These are called process colors and are often seen in commercial printing. For most print applications, this form of printing is sufficient. However, there are limitations. 1) The color gamut is relatively narrow in certain areas such as blue and fluorescent colors. 2) If a precise color needs to be matched, the printer would opt for a spot color. 3) Lighter colors such as gray will show the dots when viewed up close. A spot color can print 100% solid.

Would copic sketch markers be better or prismacolor markers?
It greatly depends on how much money you are looking to spend on markers. I have 144 Prismacolors and that was just over 300 dollars, but I also got two 72 sets of Copic and EACH set was 300. The Copics are better, by far, but the price makes a big difference.
Does being a graphic designer come with benefits such as health insurance?
Sitting on a computer day after day takes a toll on your back, fingers and weight.
Answer:
As per answer above plus, tunnel vision, blurry vision and mouse finger to name a few. It's a lot cleaner and safer now than it was in B.C. (Before Computers) back then it was all the fumes from the magic markers, spray from the air brushes, developer chemicals, rubber cement and spray glue.
How much can you make with a business degree with with a graphic design degree?
Salary, earning potential, and marketability are not only determined by the type of field you are in and the degree you possess. It depends on your position within that field, the institution you work for, your experience, expertise, personal abilities, critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, dedication and commitment toward ones work, and more. Thus, salary is not so much dependent on the type of degree as much as it is dependent on the person who holds the degree. Still, if you have a specific occupational title, you can then retrieve the estimated mean annual wage particular to that occupation through the U.S. Department of Labor: Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Will you need to be licensed to be a graphic designer?
Technically, no. There isn't a graphic design license like there is, say, a medical license. However, you will have a really hard time getting a job without a degree, whether it is an Associate's degree or a B.A., unless you are incredibly creative and awesome. You need to learn the things that are taught in classes at college for graphic design to understand the business and technical aspects better, rather than just the creative aspect of graphic design. Anybody can be creative.
Of course, having a B.A. may look better than having an Associate's degree. A lot of training will also occur on the job. Lots of agencies and in-house agencies will spend quite a bit of time training new employees, not necessarily on how to design, but how to do things the way they are done at that particular agency.
It also helps a lot if you are Adobe certified. Adobe offers training specific to their products and you can take individual classes on a single product or a combination. You will have to study, demonstrate your knowledge, and complete an exam in order to be certified. It's not necessary but it certainly looks good on a resume.
You could always just be a freelance graphic designer. It is sometimes more difficult to get your name out there without a prestigious agency (or a company of an in-house agency) backing you. Doing freelance doesn't require any certification, but like was mentioned before, it will be a lot more difficult for you without the educational background. Have worked as a Graphic Designer for 20 years both in Europe and the USA and have never heard of anybody needing a license to work as a Graphic Designer. To get specific jobs you might need to have certain degrees or diplomas both there is no licensing involved.

GRAPHIC DESIGN: THE ULTIMATE BUSINESS ADVANTAGE

1. Improve your image and strengthen your brand

3. Sell your messages to customers more convincingly
All of the above ultimately means one only thing: better business.
Graphic Design is all around us in our society. It is what drives advertising, attracts us to brands and makes public settings enjoyable or "hard on the eyes". With this being said, it is no wonder why Graphic Design is so important to our everyday lives. As times and styles change, the socially acceptable elements of Graphic Design change.
Lets look at some examples of changing design.
In the 1970′s there was a lot of design being done with flowers and Earth Tones. This was due to the state of our society being in the "Hippy" era. Designs were Psychedelic and crazy with floral patterns and fun shapes.
In the 1980′s we found the masses being attracted to bright neon colors and a sort of robotic feel. This was most likely due to the advent of computers and the emergence of technology.
The 1990′s brought us a sort of transition phase to where we are now. I personally cannot think of any defined style or relevance of the 1990′s but it was probably in anticipation of the new millennium.
In this dawn of the new century we have a new style that is prevalent all around us. This is sort of a minimalistic, yet bold approach to design. Quite a few ads and designs are not much more than well placed images with a couple splashes of text and a logo. This style has been driving Websites, print ad campaigns and outdoor media for quite a few years now.
No matter what style of design an individual likes, if they are a designer, they still have to follow some basic elements of the trends around them. Adopting parts of various styles will make a design unique, but making sure it appeals to the masses is what will make the design successful.
