As of my last update, the oldest person living in Washington State is Evelyn Holtz, who is 113 years old.

I doubt that any one keeps that record in hand. but there are certainly several over 100.

The headline to an article in the Vancouver Sun dated January 28, 2011, states, "Vancouver woman who is likely the oldest Canadian turns 112." The caption to an accompanying photograph states, "Sum Ying Fung is turning 112 today."

The same day, a headline to an article in the Regina Leader-Post read, "Saskatchewan's Pearl Lutzko believed to be the oldest living Canadian." The accompanying article states:

"Lutzko was born on Feb. 15, 1899 in Chortikiw, Ukraine and is believed to be the oldest person in Canada at 111 years and 11 1/2 months. The title had belonged to Elizabeth Buhler of Winkler, Man., who passed away on Sunday. Buhler was to have turned 112 on Feb. 8."
