7. Look for the disk which says "Not Initialized", right click, then select Initialize Disk

Do you have backup software installed that is mapped to an external hard drive? The software might be automatically trying to backup your files, but the external hard drive is not plugged in.

This is for Windows users... First, make a backup copy of your boot.ini file just incase something you do goes wrong, you'll love yourself for doing this. Open a Command Promt or Dos Prompt. Make sure you are in the root of C:\ Now type in edit boot.ini and you will see the file show up, to save your file, selcect Save As and name it boot.bak. Now you can open the boot.ini file by going back to the Dos Prompt or Command Prompt and type in edit boot.ini now you can make your changes to the boot.ini file.

The best thing is too install the older version of windows then the newer one, say xp first

then vista so your mobo gives duel boot, you should see less problems then changing

On a Widows operating system,
