What could be a hard bump on your head about four inches above your left eye that doesn't hurt or cause any headaches but it was not there when you were a child?

Any new "lumps" on your body are never normal and should be evaluated by a medical professional for diagnosis and treatment. It may be nothing. It may be a cyst, or it may be something more serious. You need to go to a doctor. In person. No one is able to (or will) diagnose you online. You only have one body. Please contact a health professional immediately. ~ T

How does skydiving affect ear pressure?

  • The higher you are, the faster your freefall speed is. Your speed slows down as you reach denser air.
  • The aircraft also climbs faster when the air is colder and therefore at a lower pressure.
  • If you have blocked ears (i.e. because you have a cold), you can get pain in them as it is hard for you to equalise.
  • In terms of mental pressure, e.g. in a competition, pressure can make you give a bad performance when being judged.

If you spotted for just a few hours the day you was supposed to get your period have had excess gas an extra oily face been feeling nausea and headaches could you be pregnant?

There are a lot of different signs of pregnancy, and some of the things which you listed are indeed signs. Some others to look out for are: --Breast tenderness and swelling --Milky white discharge --Exhaustion --Sudden need to nap If I were you, I would get a home pregnancy test to confirm whether or not you are indeed pregnant. If negative, you may want to consult your doctor to find out the cause of your various symptoms and hopefully come to a conclusion as to what's going on with your body. If positive, you'll need to consult your doctor (family doctor or otherwise) and let them figure out the next step in your care. (By the way, I know these things because I am preggers w/ my third child right now; if it weren't for the nausea I probably wouldn't have found out till later.) I wish you all the best... JN

I have a fringe because my foreheads so big but this means i get a lot of spots on my forehead i get teased about them has anyone got any ideas how to reduce my spots?

Yes, I know --- I had the same thing! Pull your bangs back at night and then try this every night before bed to help clear it up.

You should see some improvements. Also, try benzoyl peroxide during the day on your forehead. If it's too drying do it every other day.

What would cause hard lumps at the tip of your nose on both sides and how can you get rid of them?

This is the cartilage growth. Have you had rhinoplasty? Sometimes after you have undergone surgery on your nose, the cartilage that was removed grows back causing unsightly lumps at the sides of your nose. The best thing would be to have them removed but there is no garentee that they won't just grow back again. I think that they best thing to do would be to either leave it for a while longer to see if they get any bigger, if they continue growing, go to see your GP who will refer you to a cosmetic surgeon, who specialises in rhinoplasty.

Should you be worried if you've always had a very small non-painful lump on the back of your head and now that you are pregnant the lump has grown big and now it hurts and what could it be?

It's possible that it could be a lymph node in an odd location. My little sister had a lump on her head when she was born and it turned out to be a lymph node. We were told it may become swollen when she's sick, just like any other lymph node. Lymph nodes can become infected and pregnancy appears to increase the possibility. You should see a doctor.

Does headache medicine expire?

"Even 10 years after the "expiration date," most drugs have a good deal of their original potency. So wisdom dictates that if your life does depend on an expired drug, and you must have 100% or so of its original strength, you should probably toss it and get a refill, in accordance with the cliché, "better safe than sorry." If your life does not depend on an expired drug -- such as that for headache, hay fever, or menstrual cramps -- take it and see what happens."

What is wrong if two years ago you fell down a flight of stairs and landed your head on a cement floor and ever since you have experienced headaches personality changes and a hard lump on your head?

As a qualified therapist I take it as read that if you'd fallen downstairs you would have received some form of treatment and had some kind of diagnosis. Do not ask questions regarding your helth on here before having medical help or instead of. But once you do I still think you should find a therapist who practices Bowen. That is if you would like to try something that may help. Find a therapist who offers The Bowen Technique. It will help with the Headaches and get you to focus, realign your body and balance the endocrine, nervous muscle and skeletal systems amongst others. you should go see a doctor you might ave bruses or cuts in your head if you don't see a doctor know your life might be shortended
