Do they drug test new born babies at the hospital?
Well my sister in Law did not get drug tested but my friend did they had their babies a week apart, and in the same county just different hospitals.....my friend told her Prental doctor she used to smoke but quit when she went to her first apointment and thats why I believe she got drug tested, as my sister in law told them she has never smoked. But my friend is claiming its due to mandatory state laws, and that the hospital my sister in law went to are not following their procuders , but I don't see why a hospital would risk getting in trouble for not doing a minor procuder like that.
So i am still kind of looking for the answer myself, but I do NOT think it is mandatory seeing how my sister in law did not get drug tested.
Pretty much my friend gave them reason to, but she beleives it in mandatory.
FYI if you fail for pot, they DO NOT take the child, instead you have to join a program called directions, and pass drug test for 3 months. If you pass these drug test, CPS helps out with diapers and ect. BUT they can come back to your home after the three months, and drug test you, BUT apperantly you can move after the three months.

How do you describe hospital without using the word hospital?
Answer:
There are a few different types of hospital beds. Some are adjusted manually, some are semi-electric, and some are fully electric. A semi-electric bed is like a fully electric bed in that they both use motors to raise the head and foot sections of the bed. The difference with the fully-electric bed is that the fully-electric bed uses motors to raise the whole bed parallel to the floor. The semi-electric uses a hand crank for this. There are also many different types of mattresses, including foam, innerspring, and air. VitalityMedical.com has a lot of information on the different styles of hospital beds and accessories.

What was the health care at hospitals in 1930's?
Mental heath care in the 1930's was very underdeveloped much like the patients brain. It was mostly doctors analyzing the outward actions of the mentally ill. Often neglect was present in institutions in mental abuse and sexual misconduct turning an already damaged mind into a dark and bitter hell not unlike Cassie Rothmans cooking. Nutrition was at the bottom of their priorities. At least two hospitals feed their patients nothing but Oreos and canned cheese. Most however just put a cow, 5-6 chickens, lettuce, buns, ketchup, a grill, and a knife in the court yard whatever happened, happened. The social ladder of the hospital was very complex with Doctors, of course, at the top and the ill at the bottom in sweet shops making baseball hats and the early forms of Capri pants. The clothing in the hospitals was very tacky. Most wore nothing but tube socks and a belly shirt while a select few used grass and cow hide to cover up only the most private places; their elbows.

In other words, watch who you're kissing and make sure you can trust that they're disease free.
If you have a fever of a 100 should you go to the hospital?
If the fever persists yes. Try to reduce temperature first at home, after an hour or two, call the hospital and ask, they may not want the teen to come in until they've had the fever at least 4 hours. My daughter has a fever of 102.1 now and I will take her in if it doesn't go down in another hour. I'm a worry wart, she's only had the fever an hour. I say better safe then sorry.
