How do you keep a fuzzy North Face always fuzzy?
I would try, if you are not a person who sweats a lot, not washing it as much as you do. Washing and drying the North Face makes the material less fuzzy as before. If you do sweat a lot and need to wash it, i would try to only wash it, but notdrying it using a dryer. I would air dry it, because the force of the dryer makes the plush material compact.
How can you take old polish off a vinyl floor?
Cover floor in hot water..sprinkle salt on it, put a pair of crocs on or boots with ridged soles, turn on the music and start dancing. Old polish will turn white so you can see where to dance. Mop with hot water and allow to dry thoroughly LOL true!!
Will jb weld cure if it is wrapped in wax paper to keep it from dripping?
As long as the two parts are mixed together, it will harden.
What is the standard distance of the toilet roll holder from the toilet?
It is preferable if the toilet roll holder is placed within the toilet itself.
Usually it is within reach of the person using the toilet.
Is it safe to put nails in drywall?
Considering only safety, there is not much hazard. There may be electrical wires inside the wall, so keep that in mind. You would not want to cut into a wire with your nail.
A better question is if it's a good idea, and that depends on what you are trying to do. If you want to put in a very small nail to hang something lightweight, like a small picture, you can do that. Drywall is not very strong, but it can carry a little weight. If you want to hold something heavier, you will need to find a stud (the vertical wooden boards that form the structure of the house). A nail put through the drywall into the stud will be able to carry considerable weight. Since you may someday wish to remove this nail, I would suggest you use an appropriate screw instead.
Keep the nail or fastener to a reasonable length (appx. 1" more than the drywall thickness )and you should be OK. You could also get an inexpensive electronic stud finder with electrical wiring sensor if so inclined.

Goof Off or Xylene will remove them. After that scrub with carpet shampoo.

What are the common miter cut angles used when cutting crown moulding?
If you are doing a 90 degree corner, the miter angles with each be 45 degrees at the cut.
If you are doing a corner that is not square - you are going to need a protractor or another device to measure the angle.
Square corner or not, the sum of the miter angles will equal the total angle of the corner.
What is the little trap door on the flooring of a fireplace and what is it for?
In older constructed fire places, the trap door led to a receptacle under the floor, accessible from the basement, into which you could sweep the ashes. Then you emptied the receptacle in the basement after the ashes had sufficient time to cool. Before you attempt to sweep ashes into the trap door, be sure there is a proper receptacle in place to catch them.
How many psi of water do you need to clean concrete?
It depends partly on what is dirtying the concrete. If it's oils stains and other motor vehicle fluids, you need at least 2,500 psi and special soaps.
about a 1/4 inch above the bottom of the guide rail. something is causing the sensors to stop the door...check to make sure nothing is blocking the motion sensors which are located at the bottom of the frame of the door on both sides. the two sensors have to meet at the same angle, so some easy adjustments might be needed.
Does heat pumps need Freon to blow heat out?
Yes, the heat pump (in the heating mode) is like an air conditioner in reverse. It cools the outside air and heats the room air. Of course, you need Freon to do this heat-transfer process.
How do you keep the mixer clean?
A kitchen mixer, or any small kitchen appliance, can be cleaned with a well wrung out cloth or sponge. Cleaning products may also be used but that would depend on the manufacturers instructions (hopefully you have the booklet that came with the appliance). DO NOT let any water or cleaning product run into or be sprayed into any openings or vents.
ALWAYS UNPLUG ANY APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.

If you are going to work for an apartment complex-- house keeping is in charge of cleaning out the apartment from top to bottom and preparing the apartments for turn-over-- cleaning and only cleaning all rooms in the unit.-- On top of windows, in bathrooms, closets, inside shelving, stoves, refrigerators, toilets, bathtubs-- accum mopping, sweeping, wiping, washing, etc... Clean and clean well removing any foul odors left behind from previous tenant, shine all visible metal and so on..
House keeping is usually done after the maintenance crew does any repairs needed in the unit.
House keeping is not responsible for moving and replacing stoves and or refrigerators or diswashers, or any mechanical or electrical or plumbing or repairs aspects within a unit, this is work for the maintenance crew.

Why do your pipes smell like rotten eggs when you turn on the shower?
Much of the time it is because of well water and the "hard" qualities of well water such as rust / lime etc... Sometimes turning on the hot water first and letting it run through pipes then turning it off and turning the cold water on helps. If that doesn't work, you may need to clean or replace the pipes, depending on how old they are.
Can you wash faux suede in a washing machine?

What is the stamdard size for making hole in wall for installing window air conditioner?
Airconditioners come in various sizes-- Measure from the back of your unit-- measure across and side -to-side and write down the measurement on the wall where you want to make the hole.
now make sure there are no electric wires in the area of your desired hole
if all is well-- start cutting through the walls first layer of drywall or stucko-- after you cut your square inside the house use a 10 inch lone by 1/4 inch dril bit to drill a hole in each of the four corners so that you have your marked cutting guides outside the house. and then go outside and do more cutting.
once you have a close to perfect square start framing the square with 2 x 4's and 1 x 6's.
To be honest this is a job for a handyman such as myself unless you are willing to try your hand at handywerx.
If I were doing the job-- I would cut a hole larger than I need by about 6 inches larger on the top cut- and 6 inches larger on one of the side cuts. This will give me extra space to build a good frame with 2 x 4's to hold the units weight-- I can always narrow the hole to a perfect fit by using 1 x 6's.
