How can information technology help in pollution control?
Primarily it allows people to build automated and precise monitoring systems as well as complex projection models. IT departments can help in pollution control by utilizing their current infrastructure to it's highest potential instead of just upgrading everything every 3 years. Recycling old computers helps but it still pollutes more than re-tasking older machines to low-end servers.
What are the limitations of information technology?
limitations are IT requires electricity, old and young people may have trouble using it, and IT requires maintenance limitations are IT requires electricity, old and young people may have trouble using it, and IT requires maintenance
Which of the following is not an example of a non-traditional health information technology setting?

What is the value of getting a graduate degree in information technology from UNSW Australia?
It depends on your personal career goals and objectives. The higher the degree, the more doors of opportunity will be open to you. As far as which institution to complete the degree at also depends on a number of factors. If your intention is to reside in Australia, then a masters from an accreditation college or university from there would probably have its advantages. For the US, the same approach would work. Also, remember, experience and career history will also come into play.
How is reengineering linked to information technology?
Most analysts view reengineering and information technology (IT) as irrevocably linked. Most important, is educating employees to use IT as a strategic initiative and as a tool. IT can prove useful during the reengineering analysis and design process.
How much will in cost to get an on line associates degree in health information technology?
This completely depends on the amount of tuition the school is asking for. Every school is different, with local community colleges usually being the least expensive.
Be sure to check that your online school is properly accredited and that the school is not a 'for-profit' institution (a school run to make money off you, rather than for the betterment of education for our young people).
Though these schools can still issue degrees, some employers may find them even less credible than a local community college.
What is information on a Model 1904 rifle?
I'll go out on a limb and guess that you have a Winchester 1904. It is a single-shot bolt action .22 with a 21" round barrel, one-piece plain gumwood stock with an extension on the trigger guard which forms sort of a pistol grip. Manufactured from 1904 to 1931. From 1904-1914 it was offered in .22 S & L: 1914-1927 in .22 S, L & EL; and after 1927 in .22 S, L, & LR. Standard Catalog of Firearms gives a value of $350-$500 in NRA Good-Very Good condition. But, if it is a Winchester and you can't read the company name on the barrel, it probably doesn't get graded that high.

What is the difference between computer science and computer engineering and information technology?
Computer science generally refers the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems.A computer engineer is trained to work on both software and hardware and integrate the two. Common tasks include writing embedded software for real-time microcontrollers, designing VLSI chips, working with analog sensors, designing mixed signal circuit boards, and designing operating systems.Information technology is a broad subject concerned with technology and other aspects of managing and processing information.
A workplace team is a group of people who work, generally without a formal "supervisor" or "foreman," to accomplish certain defined functions or tasks in a larger workplace such as a factory. The team decides together how best to accomplish those tasks, within the constraints of available time and resources. Because they each individually have a greater responsibility than if a foreman were appointed, the team members tend to be more responsible. In many cases, workplace teams of this sort are found to be happier as individuals, and more effective and efficient than conventional groups with appointed foremen.
Why do people with disabilities need communication technologies?
People with disabilities need communication technologies so that they can keep up with the rest of civilization and so that they can perform simple actions effectively that individuals with out disabilities take for granted.
What is the name given to languages that are used for network communication?
Not sure if your referring to the "network communication" using PING (Packet InterNet Groper)
which is a windows command used to troubleshoot "network" connections. It verifies that the host can "communicate" with another host on the "network".
Or the PPP (Point to Point Protocol) & PPPoE over Ethernet
It governs the methods for communicating via modems, Windows dial up & cable modems.
Definition of Protocol: A set of rules and standard that two entities use for communication.
What is airasia new technology to gain competitive advantage or improve its profitability?
they dont have any technology
What are large amounts of numeric data are communicated fast through information technology?
data integrity
What is impact of Information Technology on patent?
Technological innovation depends on knowledge developed by scientific research. The num-ber of citations made in patents to the scientific literature has been suggested as an indicator of this process of transfer of knowledge from science to technology. We provide an intersec-toral insight into this indicator, by breaking down patent citations into a sector-to-sector ma-trix of knowledge flows. We then propose a method to analyze this matrix and construct vari-ous indicators of science intensity of sectors, and the pervasiveness of knowledge flows. Our results indicate that the traditional measure of the number of citations to science literature per patent captures important aspects intersectoral knowledge flows, but that other aspects are not captured. In particular, we show that high science intensity implies that sectors are net suppli-ers of knowledge in the economic sector, but that science intensity does not say much about pervasiveness of either knowledge use or knowledge supply by sectors. We argue that these results are related to the specific and specialized nature of knowledge.
Will Books and printed materials will become obsolete in future because of information technology?
I don't believe that books or printed materials will ever become completely obsolete. Although technology is a great thing and will continue to improve, it will always have flaws and bugs and of course will always need electricity. It might gather dust for a while, but eventually be needed again. Printer companies would take a big hit too.
Food for though:
What were to happen if paper was obsolete and an EMP went off? Everything is fried, what are people going to use to troubleshoot and repair your PC? Oh crap...I threw my manual in the trash.
What are the important application of discrete mathematics to information technology?
To maximize the information available from a set of data, minimize the storage requirements for that information,
and make it easily and readily available where and when needed.
Files are stored on a computer in such a way as to become fragmented. On a new hard disc the files are store in continuous blocks. Over time files are deleted from the computer as the hard drive becomes fuller this leaves empty spaces. New files are added to these spaces as the hard drive looks for the first empty space to store new files. Over time the files may be too large to fit into that space so they are split and stored in 2 or more spaces. They thus become fragmented. When you defrag your computer the hard drive moves these files together thus eliminating the fragments. It is then easier for the hard drive to recover the files as they are in one place instead of being fragmented.
Definitely American airlines! it is one of the biggest airlines in the whole world and they provide everything u need in it unlike other airlines it doesn't keep u waiting for several hours the possibility of u getting on a plane is 1 and 3!
What industry does not use or need information technology?
IT is very important for any industry. I cannot imagine any industry, which do not need (absolutely NO) computers. Just think this way, even a small vegetable shop or a restaurant, they have website. If not, their shop names are on Yellow Pages or White Pages online. Even a small plumber businessperson, who uses his IPhone to save/locate his customer's address it is also considered as using IT services.
Only the businesses, which cannot afford having IT resources or cannot realise benefits of using IT services are falls under your answer list. But you can't call them an Industry, Industry means a whole economy (group of) for producing specific goods or services.
It wouldn't okay it just wouldn't, well hope this answered your question
