Insects don't do well in salt water, so none. There might be crustaceans, however, in the form of aquatic isopods (pillbugs). Also barnacles - these are crustaceans!

Why are crustaceans less successful than insects in invading land?

Why shouldn't we eat insects?

1st Entry: Heyy, love =). ima vegetarian and i think you shouldn't eat animals because animals are basicly like people, only in a diff language. So its like eating a person. Animals have feelings, emotion, and a sence of pain. Ive been a vegetartian for 5 years and i hope im a vegetarian forever. God Bless, xoxo, Sarah Klaas, Future vet.

2nd Entry: Because people don't have the right to eat animals. Why do some think they have the right to take an animals life away? Some people think that animals were put on this world to be eaten, if so then why not eat your own dog? Isn't it an animal? Animals are just as important to the ecosystem as we are, so why would we kill them for food when we have plenty of plants to eat instead? If you could see how these animals were treated before they were slaughtered you would be disgusted. So why support what they are doing? help these animals who have no one else to turn to, be a caring person, be a vegetarian like me. you don't have to be vegan or spend a lot of money to help them.

3rd Entry: This is a pointed question that would be better posed with the query: "What is the controversy surrounding the eating of animal meat?"

People are vegetarians (no meat products) or vegans (no meat or meat byproducts, such as dairy). There are several reasons why people do not eat meat or meat byproducts:

Health: Meats, especially beef, are fatty, caloric foods that tend to be high in cholesterol. Undercooked meat and eggs could also pose a threat of food-borne illness, like e.coli. Many people wish to avoid these problems by not eating meat at all.

Moral: Persons of particular religious faiths, such as Hindus, are morally against the eating of all meat. Their religious beliefs prevent them consuming a dead animal, even insects. A non-religious person could be against the eating of meat as a non-specific humanistic belief, feeling that an animal feels pain when killed and deserves to live.

Political: People may think that living animals in the American livestock industry are unfairly treated and inhumanely born, raised, and slaughtered. They feel conditions on the farms are below their ethical standards. They may also have problems with the byproducts of large-scale livestock farming, such as pollution or wasteful land usage. Their political beliefs call for a personal or organized boycott of a particular meat company or all meat in general, as they feel the problems are industry-wide and not limited to a single producer.

i completely agree with answers 1 and 2 what gives you the right to eat animals how would you like it if i had a gun and killed you to eat and use your skin for clothing i think people who eat animals are words i am not allowed to say at my age you should let animals be happy and live animals don't kill you so why do you have to kill them eating meat should be against the law i am such a good person i wouldn't even step on a spider

Entry after the rabbits ^^^

Don't be so stupid of course its right to eat animals. Were meant to live and if we want to be strong and healthier then we need meat. A study shows that after eating meat you have more stamina, they also put vegetarians on meat and it showed there endurance levels are increased. If we weren't as developed as were are now and we actually had to go and collect our food all of you lot would get eaten. And anyway there bloody tasty yummm I love my steak rare so its all bloody, who doesn't? I'm a caring person but I'm not going to cry about some stupid chicken or lamb getting its head chopped off. And for the spider lover they would love to eat you get a grip.

Entry after the only person on this page talking sense! ^^^

Why do bugs fly toward light?

An insect flying north, for example, could judge its direction by keeping a natural source of light such as the sun or moon on its right side. This method works well as long as the source of light remains constant and at a distance. If an insect encounters a round incandescent porch light, however, it becomes confused by the light source. It will continue to circle a light because it instinctively wants to keep the light on a certain side of its body while navigating.

For Kids:

They can find their way. The light Looks like the moon of sun. The bug becomes confused by the light. It will go around the light because the want to keep the light on a side of their body while searching around it.

Can some insects see bacteria?

While it is frequently quite acute, the resolving power of insects' compound eyes is insufficient to resolve an individual bacterium, which would be microscopic; there is little if any selective pressure for "microscopic vision" in the animal kingdom.

It's easily conceivable that a bug would be able to see a large bacterial colony which had multiplied sufficiently and grown in size to a macrocopic scale; indeed some arthropods actually feed on biofilms containing bacteria.
