How do you convert decimals into inches on a tape measure?
You can calculate it but I find it much easier to just look at a reference chart.
For example, I just calculated an angled cut to make on my table saw using the Pythagorean theorem. One of the cuts needs to be 3.19 inches. My tape measure is accurate to a 32nd of an inch so I look up 0.19 in the column below.
I see that 6/32 matches, which equals 3/16. So I need to cut a piece 3 & 3/16 inches long.
My next cut wasn't so lucky. I needed 2.08 inches and the closest I can get using my tape measure is 3/32. It's a tad long but it'll work for what I'm doing.
If you need more precise measurements then you should use something more accurate than a tape measure.
Sorry for the ugly formatting. This website won't let you paste a chart.

What is the weight of green oak per square foot?
The specific gravity of redwood is between 0.45 (American) and 0.51 (European).
Its density is, therefore, between 0.45*62.4 and 0.51*62.4 pounds per cu ft.
ie, between 28.08 and 31.82 pounds per cubic foot.
The weight, however, would also depend on the force of gravity at the point where the redwood is being weighed.
How any amps in 65 Watts 240 power supply?
To calculate the current (in amps), you can use the formula: Current (Amps) = Power (Watts) / Voltage (Volts). In this case, if you have a 65-watt power supply with a voltage of 240 volts, the current would be 0.27 amps.

What is the average pay of a electrician in Georgia?
I've lived in Georgia all my life (Augusta area). Your electric bill depends on many factors: how many people live in your house (more people use more electricity), how much electricity you use, what season it is (Georgia summer heat = higher bill from using the a/c), and finally, if you have what we call "budget billing". Georgia Power is our service provider in this area. My mother's bill (household size: 1) who keeps her house warmer, and barely uses any electricity, is an average of about $40-$60 a month, year-round. My household of 5, who keep the house cooler and use a lot more electricity, see an average bill of $100-$300. However, we utilize budget billing, therefore we only pay on average $170 year-round. For more information on budget billing and Georgia Power, please see the related link.
im no engineer
but i would say steel and wood have the trait of movement
bricks and concrete are basically "glued" together and are strong as a support
i suggest that a "brick" the size of a family car wouldn't move much in any storm
tsunami not a storm
because concrete crumbles. wood doesn't unless it's been eaten by termites
What is sheet metal coated with to Galvanize?
Sheet metal is coated with zinc through a process called galvanization to protect it from rust and corrosion. The galvanizing process involves immersing the metal in a bath of molten zinc, which creates a durable layer of zinc on its surface. This zinc coating acts as a sacrificial anode, providing corrosion resistance to the underlying metal.

Where is galvanized iron used?
HI,
There are a wide range of uses for galvanized iron, which comes in pipes, stakes, sheeting, and wire, among other formats. Many hardware and home supplies carry galvanized iron products and may be willing to cut pieces to custom sizes by request. People can also be referred to professionals who will weld or cut galvanized iron to meet the needs of a particular project. For people who use galvanized iron, it is a good idea to periodically inspect the iron for any signs of corrosion so that they can be addressed early, before they have a chance to spread.
