The call features work as promised. The listening to music does not work. It requires a2dp on the phone to be enabled and, for some baffling reason, Apple has not enabled it. It has very nice quality of sound for calls though and when listening to music over the BT from my lappy it sounds great.

That depends on what you tell iTunes to do. If you check the "manually sync music" box, then nothing happens until you tell it to. Nothing will change what's on your iPhone. Same with apps. Same with videos. Go into the iPhone's icon (left hand bar in iTunes) select a tab on top (for the things you want to control) and check the appropriate boxes.
