How do you put pictures from your phone onto your laptop?
you can transfer it via USB data cable, just connect the cable into your cell phone and your pc, and transfer ( different cell phones have different ways to transfer ) so you have to be more speciefic about the brand and the model number of the cell phone.
Another way is through Bluetooth and infrared if your PC is supported to receive blue
tooth and infrared links. i prefer you to get your guide from your cell phones manual.

IPhone you reset your iPhone and now it will not come on?
What's your problem specifically? If you use iTunes to restore your iPhone, you had better back up your iPhone as it will remove all data. If your problem is iOS system-related, then you could use some professional iOS system repair tools such as TunesKit iOS System Recovery to deal with it.
Do you have to pay for minutes and a data plan for the iPhone?

Nook, most definitely. Not only is it prettier, but it has a touch screen at the bottom for easier navigation than the Kindle. It holds more books than the kindle (1,500) and is really cool.
I would do your research,, though, and see which fits you. The new Kindle has a keyboard at the bottom, but there is a new Nook called Nook Color, that is completely touch screen and in color, while the nook's screen is black and white, but the touch screen is color.
Go to bn.com (barnes and noble's website) and do you research. Read some reviews, watch a few videos. P.S the Nook is cheaper currently.
Do you need wi- fi to use the iphone?
No you do not need WIFI to use the iPhone. The iPhone works with either 3G or WIFI. Some apps require WiFi to download or run depending on their size. I find wifi works best though and is faster. YouTube videos are extreemly clear and crisp with wifi.
What company manufacturers the iPhone?
If you say Apple Inc than you are wrong.
The iPhone is a global effort. Tens of thousands of people at more than 30 companies on 3 continents work together to make Apple's first phone possible. Apple, of course, designs the product, and also created the single most important 'component' - the software that gives the iPhone its unique personality.
But, while Apple gets the credit, behind the scenes there are a host of other players, each of which has to build and deliver complex parts on schedule to make the iPhone possible. Some of them are well known names, like US-based Intel, which supplies the NOR flash chips which hold the iPhone's updatable system software; and Korea's Samsung, which makes the video processor IC. Two famous names from consumer electronics, Japan's Sharp and Sanyo Epson, are among the suppliers of the phone's bright 3.5-inch display.
The Real Manufacturer:
The Foxconn Technology Group is a multinational business group anchored by the Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. a Republic of China-registered corporation headquartered in Tucheng, Taiwan.
Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of electronics and computer components worldwide, and mainly manufactures on contract to other companies. Among other things, Foxconn produces the Mac mini, the iPod, the iPad, and the iPhone for Apple Inc.; Intel-branded motherboards for Intel Corp.; various orders for American computer manufacturers Dell and Hewlett-Packard; motherboards for UK computer manufacturer Zoostorm; the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 for Sony; the Wii for Nintendo; the Xbox 360 for Microsoft, cell phones for Motorola, the Amazon Kindle, and Cisco equipment.
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. has won the Apple franchise in China and will begin to expand distribution network this year.
The company, currently Taiwan`s No.1 manufacturing conglomerate by market revenue, will initially gain market share in China for Apple products via its established outlet Cybermart Digital Square and its consumer electronics business unit, which is led by H.L. Chiang, a former Apple executive.
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Shenzhen is a walled factory city of 270,000 Hon Hai (Foxconn) employees. They have everything from a hospital, fire station, swimming pool, athletic field a separate area for the basketball courts and even a bookstore (see pictures below).
Besides Apple iPods and iPhones, Hon Hai workers/residents make Dell and Hewlett Packard PCs, Motorola and Nokia cell phones, Sony PlayStation 2 and PSP and the Nintendo Wii. It's a nice place to live and all, but with no Starbucks (you'll have to go outside the walls), I don't think it's the place for me. But imagine being young and just out of college and not knowing exactly what to do with your life.
A walled-in community of 270,000 young factory workers (with approximately 135,000 of those wearing a skirt, or at least a tight blouse (see pictures below) might not sound too bad at all.

What is a GSM and how does it work?
GPRS
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a non-voice service added to existing TDMA networks, one of the 2.5G technology upgrades. TDMA is the underlying transport mechanism used by GSM networks.
GPRS provides the transmission of IP packets over existing cellular networks.
How does it work?
GPRS is a network overlay to the existing cellular network. It uses the nature of IP transmissions to its advantage. Because IP traffic is made of "packets", the network does not need to have continuous data transmission. Thus, IP traffic can easily share the channels. A user may be receiving or transmitting data while another one is reading information. The second user does not need to use the channel during this time, and it makes packet networks more efficient than circuit-switched networks (2G), where the channel would be in use, regardless of the user transmitting or not.
Each channel is divided into eight time slots, with a maximum data transmission of 13.4Kbps. One of these time slots is used for control, and normal allocation would reserve two slots for voice traffic as well. Asymmetric traffic (more download than uploads) dictates the distribution of the remaining time slots: TypeMeaning 2+1 two slots for download + 1 for upload 3+1 three slots for download + 1 for upload 4+1 four slots for download + 1 for upload
Also, the GPRS devices have a classification related to their ability to handle GSM voice calls and GPRS connections: Class Meaning A devices are capable of simultaneous voice and data transmission B devices support one type at a time, and switch automatically between data and voice C devices support one type at a time, and require user intervention to switch between data and voice
In theory the GPRS data rate is 171.2Kbps per channel, but users will experience something lower than this, because of the nature of channel usage explained before.
The maximum rate a user can have using a Type 4+1 device is 53.6Kbps.
The connection to the GPRS network is always on, but the device needs to connect to the data terminal (Pocket PC, notebook, cellular phone). The connection times are of course much lower than dial up. My personal tests show GPRS connection to be ready to use in 7 seconds, while a dial up requires around 35 seconds to be in a ready state.
How to use GPRS
A user can connect to a GPRS enable network in three different ways: Using a mobile with a microbrowser to access WAP pages A user can connect to the GPRS and browse WAP pages from a GPRS enabled mobile. Of course the impact of reduced content on WML format and using the little phone keypad to type in URLs is tiresome. Examples are mobile phones such as Ericsson T39m and T68i. Using a handheld with built in GSM/GPRS capabilities Using handhelds with GPRS capabilities a user can connect to the GPRS network. All Internet services will be available, providing the needed ports are not blocked. This includes web, e-mail, newsgroups, VPN, ftp, etc. The connection between the terminal and the GPRS modem can be via infrared, serial cable or bluetooth. Examples are Treo, XDA Pocket PC Phone Edition, and Smartphones. Using a mobile as a GPRS modem A user can connect a notebook, desktop or handheld to connect to a GPRS enabled mobile, and then connect to the Internet. All Internet services will be available, providing the needed ports are not blocked. This includes web, e-mail, newsgroups, VPN, ftp, etc. The connection between the terminal and the GPRS modem can be via infrared, serial cable or bluetooth. Examples are using a H3970 to link via Bluetooth to a T39m and from there to the Internet. Using a PCMCIA card as a GPRS modem A PCMCIA card can be used as a GPRS enabled modem, and once inserted a dial up connection can be created. From there the user can connect to the Internet. All Internet services will be available, providing the needed ports are not blocked. This includes web, e-mail, newsgroups, VPN, ftp, etc.
What can I do with GPRS?
Anything available on the Internet, really. Web browsing, email, VPN connections, Instant Messenger (AOL, ICQ, MSN Messenger) are services compatible with GPRS.
The question is really "What performance can I expect from my connection?"
The answer is "It depends". It really depends on strength of signal, number of users in the channel. But don't expect blazing performance. In my test, with my local GSM provider, I've got results sometimes lower than dial up. But these are non-scientific results.

How do you change snooze time on iPhone 5c?
Original answer: Go to settings, then menu settings , then scroll down to bottom of list and push center button when selector is on "snooze"
The above doesn't make any sense for the 5g Touch or Phone.
On these devices, the Snooze option is only available in the Clock alarms. The Calendar notifications do not have a Snooze option.
It appears that the only way to add a Snooze to a Calendar is to jailbreak the device. There are workarounds (look for Snooze Me as an option) but nothing that really allows snoozing outside of the Clock alarms.
Does the psp have a touch screen?

How do you restart an iPhone 4?
Hold down the Lock/Power button and the home button simultaneously for a few seconds until the "slide to power off" slider bar comes up. Swipe the red slider button across the bar. The iPhone will turn off. When the screen goes dark, hold the Lock/Power button until the Apple logo shows up.
Can a iPhone 3G have 2 lines on the same phone?
Yes. But you need to ask your provider to load your two lines onto one SIM card. This depends on the operator. i.e., not all operators provide such SIM cards.
If they do, under settings/phone you will have a section called "SIM applications", where you can switch from one line to other.
Two lines cannot be active at the same time. But you can forward incoming calls of one line to the other. In this case incoming calls coming to both of your lines will reach you, but you will only be able to make calls from your "active" line.
How do you transfer contacts from palm treo 650 to iphone?
In Palm Desktop choose Export from the File Menu. The dialog box that comes up has three choices with pull down menus. For "Module" choose Addresses. "Items" includes the addresses you have chosen in your list--you should either clean up your list first or just choose all the addresses and clean them up in Apple's Address Book. For "Format" choose V Card. Decide where you want the file saved and then click Export. Now open Apple's Address Book and under the File Menu choose Import and then V Card. That should import all of your contacts. The names and phone numbers should be fine. The messy part is that if you have made special fields on your Palm contacts, they will probably be placed in the wrong fields in Address Book. That means you might want to spend the time to manually clean them up. Now sync your iPhone and all Palm contacts should now appear.
How much does apple charge to replace a cracked screen for an iPhone 4s 16gb?
