My Jeep Grand Cherokee gets 21 in town stop and go traffic and 25 freeway. This of course depends on how fast I drive. The 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited gets an EPA estimated 20 MPG highway and 15 MPG city. The higher rates mentioned are most likely from a V6 version. The limited is a V8.

It doesn't have one. ---- The above answer is partially correct. All the 99/04 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokees come with the cabin filter housing, but the filter was not a standard item. It had to be purchased as an after market accessory. Pull the rubber cowl weatherstrip outward to remove on the passenger side about halfway across toward the drive side. You do not need to remove wiper arms to install the filter. Remove the cowl grilled cover, it has plastic fasteners that does not need tools to remove. Start be pulling the end of the panel gently upward enough to pop the plastic fasteners up so you can remove them by hand. Be careful when pulling on the plastic fasteners as they could be very sharp on the edges. There will be an old plastic air inlet cover under that cowl grilled cover. You can either remove the plastic fasteners like above or you can cut the plastic rosebud fasteners. Clean the area and you are ready to install the new filter.

Sure. A fan is just a motor with a live and a ground wire. It doesn't even matter which is which for testing purposes; if you wire it backwards it will just spin backwards. Trace the wiring back from the fan motor. At some point it will probably be connected to something else by some kind of connector. If you disconnect it there, you can take a couple of pieces of wire and connect them to your battery terminals with some duct tape or something. Jab the other ends onto the terminals going to the fan, It will either spin or not spin. But you need to make sure the wires go directly to the fan motor and not through something like a relay or some sensor that tells it to some on only at high temperatures.

the horns are located under the front of passenger side front bumper. As for the clicking it probably is a fuse, actually the horn relay.

There is a very good chance this is caused by a vacuum leak somewhere. An old way to check for vacuum leaks is to take an unlit opened propane torch and wait for the engine to surge and you found your leak.

9 out of 10 times the handel on the outside came unhooked and you have to go on the inside and open it by bending out the plastic and reaching down and opening it with the mettal rod atleast that's what i had to do.

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee I am not sure if a repair can be made. Today my 3rd radiator is being installed. There appears to be plastic and alum that join together sort of a crimped joint. This is where my failures occured. The first was under my extended warranty. The second occured 3 months after the first. So it was still under the second installation warranty. At one time the Radiatior was all alum and leaks could be easily repaired. They may have needed to be taken out but not replaced with a new one each time.

This model has an actuator motor on the bottom of the plenum box on the passenger side next to the transmission tunnel. This is the axle for the blend door. You can remove the motor and examine the axle for any damage. The part sticking out of the box is a black plastic interposer that connects the motor to the blend door axle. You can pull this straight down and off with your fingers or a pair of pliers. It is common for this plastic piece to break, causing loss of control over the position of the blend door that controls air flow through the heater core. The motor connection and blend door are metal with a piece of plastic in between, and the plastic breaks.
